Slight Smile 【People of Japan #2】

A smile the Mona Lisa would be jealous of.

One of the highlights of the festival is a parade around the area carrying the mikoshi (portable shrine). Any young girl who wants to dress up can enter the parade. Here’s one of them. I waved to grab her attention and snapped this photo as she looked at me.

This was the fall festival at Toyokawa Inari, which I've written about before. A fun festival (with free sake!) and a great event. Fully recommended if you happen to be in the area.

Don't miss the other great photos in the People of Japan photo series!
