EyeOnItaly: The Best Authors #3

Welcome to the official EyeOnItaly curation post!!

The aim is to introduce the italian culture to the world through the eyes of authors who had the opportunity to sight-see Italy.

@karensuestudios in her post she show us her visit to Florence city together with @teamsteem.
Thanks to her video we can have a look at one of the most beautiful cathedral of Florence, Santa Croce (Holy Cross).

Every year in June the plaza in front of it hosts the “Calcio Fiorentino” matches, a mixture of rugby and soccer. A violent sport that has ancient origins.

@wizzdom with his post he takes us to Venice, one of the most beautiful city in the world.
Through his photos and video we can admire some peculiar glimpses of the floating city.

The city counts 417 bridges connecting 118 island divided by 177 canals with 350 gondolas that sail through them. 450 palaces complete the city, 170 of them overlook the Canal Grande.
Ramo Varasco is the most tight alley in the world wide just 53 cm.
Also Venice keeps sinking 1 to 2 mm every year.
