Session 4 - May 17th

Finally after almost a month, I can make sure that personal commitments and good weather coincide, so I could run a few miles by bike. "Nice weather", because it was so changeable today. The clouds present did not promise anything good but in the end they were kind enough to let me conclude this session without problems. 🌅 🌁 🌄

Alleluja! Finalmente, dopo quasi un mese, riesco a fare in modo che impegni personali e bel tempo coincidano, così da poter macinare qualche chilometro in bici. "Bel tempo" solo fino a un certo punto, a dirla tutta. Le nuvole presenti anche oggi non promettevano niente di buono ma alla fine sono state così gentili da lasciarmi concludere senza problemi questa sessione.

Today I tried two climbs that I still had not traveled this year. They are not very hard, in both the altitude difference to be overcome is distributed in a way that lets you catch your breath; short and intense stretches followed by decidedly providential false plans, sometimes 😓. For this reason they are two climbs particularly suitable if you are not too fit, even for the road surface that is particularly varied (dirt, cement, asphalt). Effort acceptable!

Oggi ho voluto provare due salite che quest'anno ancora non avevo percorso. Non sono molto dure, in tutte e due il dislivello da superare è distribuito in un modo che ti lascia rifiatare; strappi brevi e intensi seguiti da falsi piani decisamente provvidenziali, a volte😓. Per questa ragione sono due salite particolarmente adatte se non si è troppo in forma, anche per il fondo stradale che è particolarmente vario (sterrato, cemento, asfalto). Sforzo accettabile!

However today for the first time I could see a couple of torrents with water. I know this phrase will seem strange, but the fact is that I had always seen them dry! Clear evidence of how unusual this particularly rainy period was 🌂. It is likely that this summer will suffer less drought 🎑, certainly good news a bit for everyone around here! 🌱

Comunque quest'oggi per la prima volta ho potuto vedere un paio di torrenti con l'acqua. Lo so sembrerà strana questa frase ma il fatto è che li avevo visti sempre in secca. Prova evidente di quanto sia stato inconsueto questo periodo particolarmente piovoso. E' probabile che quest'estate si soffrirà meno la siccità, sicuramente una buona notizia un po' per tutti da queste parti!
