(ENG-ITA) Swe(ea)t MTB #04 - Diary of a sportsman in half [Photos by voiceoff]
Interlude - May 6th
It has been a period of cloudy and rainy days and it is for this reason that lately I stayed away from the dirt roads of the countryside. Sunday, however, was held a wonderful event organized by friends of the MTB association and I participated trying to help to prepare everything. I have not cycled but I enjoyed it anyway.
E' stato un periodo di giornate nuvolose e piovose ed è per questo motivo che ultimamente sono rimasto lontano dalle stradine sterrate delle campagne paesane. Domenica si è svolta però una bellissima manifestazione organizzata dagli amici dell'associazione MTB e ho partecipato cercando di dare una mano per preparare il tutto. Non ho pedalato ma mi sono divertito lo stesso.
The planned route has undergone some variation due to the impossibility of crossing some torrents for the flood of these days. However it has retained the original difficulty that included some very technical and suggestive single trek and a very difficult final descent followed by an even more difficult climb of 800 meters with 120 of difference in height. This is the "V" that you can see in the elevation profile around the twenty-fourth kilometer.
Il percorso previsto ha subito qualche variazione dovuta all'impossibilità di attraversare alcuni torrenti per la piena di questi giorni. Tuttavia ha conservato la difficoltà originaria (media) che comprendeva alcuni single trek molto suggestivi e una difficilissima discesa finale seguita da una "croccante" salitella di 800 metri con 120 di dislivello. Si tratta della "V" che potete vedere nel profilo altimetrico attorno al ventiquattresimo chilometro.
Personally I worked to set up a half-way refreshment point, near the "Nuraghe Voes" (the largest nuraghe of the entire plateau), where the participants made a small stop to refuel and eat something. At this moment I took some nice pictures that I report below. I hope to resume training as soon as possible, maybe tomorrow, weather permitting!
Personalmente mi sono occupato di allestire un punto ristoro a metà percorso, nei pressi del "Nuraghe Voes" (il nuraghe più grande di tutto l'altopiano), dove i partecipanti hanno fatto una piccola sosta per fare rifornimento e mangiare qualcosa. Ho scattato qualche foto carina che riporto di seguito. Spero di riprendere gli allenamenti il più presto possibile, magari domani, tempo permettendo!

che meraviglia! Anche io domenica ero a visitare un nuraghe. era quello di Palmavera, vicino ad Alghero. Sono stata a Sassari per lavoro e domenica mi sono concessa una gita spettacolare. Grazie

e' vero! anche se devo dire che un piccolo ritocco in quel senso è stato fatto con Photoshop ;)
