My Point Of View #27 - "ROGER WATERS AND HIS MESSAGES"

Il concerto di ieri di Roger Waters che si è svolto al Circo Massimo di Roma è stato carico di messaggi. Guardate le foto che ho scattato e prendete le vostre considerazioni.

Yesterday's concert by Roger Waters that took place at the Circus Maximus in Rome was full of messages. Look at the photos I've taken and take your considerations.

Per fortuna avevo biglietti per il Golden Circle perciò mi sono goduto lo spettacolo da molto vicino.

Luckily I had tickets to the Golden Circle so I enjoyed the show very close.

Dopo alcune canzoni Roger ha iniziato con i suoi "messaggi" , un po di politica, un po di religione, invitandoci a RESISTERE contro le guerre , contro l'antisemitismo, contro l'inquinamento del ambiente, ridicolizzando persone come per esempio Trump a chi l'ha definito un MAIALE.

After some songs Roger started with his "messages", a bit of politics, a bit of religion, inviting us to RESIST against wars, against anti-Semitism, against pollution of the environment, ridiculing people like Trump, for example, who called him a PIG.

Ma la cosa che mi ha colpito di più è stata quando attraverso messaggi scritti chiedeva di RESISTERE contro Mark Zuckerberg dicendo:

RESISTI CONTRO MARK ZUCKERBERG

Questo ragazzo ha iniziato con una schifosa applicazione studentesca misogina per classificare le ragazze sulla base della loro carineria.
Ora, 10 anni dopo, è un multimiliardario che, insieme ai due ragazzi che hanno avviato google, riesce a censurare internet.
Sta lentamente cercando di eliminare qualsiasi sito web che non è conforme alla sua visione del mondo consumistico.

But the thing that struck me most was when through written messages he asked to RESIST against Mark Zuckerberg saying:

RESIST MARK ZUCKERBERG

This guy started out with crappy misogynist student app to grade girls on the basis of their cuteness.
Now 10 years later, he's a multi-billionaire who, along with the two guys who started google, gets to censor the internet.
He is slowly trying to eliminate any website that doesn't conform to his consumerist world view.

Puoi essere il nostro fratello o tu puoi essere un "Grande fratello" non puoi essere entrambi.

You can be our brothers guy or you can be "Big Brother" you can't be both.

Per noi che usiamo Steemit è un'ulteriore conferma che siamo sulla strada giusta; senza censura.

For us who use Steemit it is a further confirmation that we are on the right track; without censorship.

Per me è stato il terzo concerto di Roger, i primi due li potrei definire come molto emozionanti ma questo ultimo è stato più significativo per via di questi messaggi.

For me it was Roger's third concert, the first two could be described as very emotional but this was more significant because of these messages.
