The Importance of Unnecessary Things -ENG ITA- L'Importanza delle cose inutili

A few days ago, while walking through the streets of Vernole (LECCE, ITALY) I noticed an insect climbing up the wall of a house. I invariably decided to take a picture, and this morning, as I uploaded it to this social, I wondered, "What can I write about cabbage?

I am doing research into this and I find that:

"Nothing that belongs to this world is useless in the eyes of God. Neither a leaf that comes off the tree, nor a hair that falls from the head, nor an insect that is killed because annoying. Every creature or thing has a reason to be." Quote of (Paulo Coelho)

Reason to exist? A beetle?! That's where my curiosity about it comes out...

Pochi giorni fa, mentre passeggiavo per le strade di Vernole, notavo un insetto che risaliva il muro di un'abitazione. Immancabilmente, avevo deciso di scattare una foto, e stamane, mentre l'ho caricata su questo social, mi sono domandato: "Cosa cavolo potrei scrivere?"

Faccio una ricerca sull'argomento e trovo questo:

"Niente che appartiene a questo mondo è inutile agli occhi di Dio. Né una foglia che si stacca dall'albero, né un capello che cade dalla testa, né un insetto che viene ucciso perché fastidioso. Ogni creatura o cosa possiede una ragione d’essere." Citazione di (Paulo Coelho)

Ragione d'esistere?!? Uno scarafaggio??!!! E' qui si accende la mia curiosità a riguardo...

Secondo gli studi di Srini Kambhampati, professore di Biologia dell’Università del Texas, la scomparsa di questi insetti minaccerebbe seriamente l'intero eco-sistema.
Questo il motivo: le loro uova sono l'unico alimento delle vespe parassita, le quali a loro volta fungono da cibo per: lupi, topi, aquile e altri volatili..

Insomma si interromperebbe quella catena alimentare di cui tutti ne facciamo parte.
E gli escrementi di questo bacherozzo, regolano il PH del terreno rendendolo fertile contribuendo al ciclo dell'azoto
