If photography is an art, a sad cat that warms up under the light of a solar sphere, can represent a visual work of real impact. I say sad because this animal was raised for sixteen years at home, by choice of the owners, who were afraid of losing their beloved feline. He looks like an actor who appears on the stage of life, ready to perform to convey his anxieties with the help of silence. This is the reason why I chose the black and white image, to give space to the emotions and thoughts evoked by the aforementioned image. The honor of the critics is yours ...

Se la fotografia è un'arte, un gatto triste che si riscalda sotto la fiocca luce di una sfera solare, può rappresentare un'opera visiva di vero impatto. Dico triste perché questo animale è stato cresciuto per sedici anni in casa, per scelta dei padroni, i quali avevano paura di perdere il loro amato felino. Sembra un attore che si presenta sul palcoscenico della vita, pronto a esibirsi per trasmettere le sue angosce, non con le parole ma con il silenzio. Ecco il motivo per cui ho scelto l'immagine in bianco e nero, per dare spazio alle emozioni e ai pensieri evocati da suddetta immagine. A voi l'onore della critica...

The photo was taken at Norma (LATINA, ITALY), in the home of a kind elderly lady friend of my mother, who gave me permission to publish the image. To capture this image, I used my Asus Zenfone smartphone with the basic APP and with the following features:

• ISO: 125
• EV: +0.5
• WB: 0
• TRIP: 1/30
• MEGAPIXELS: 13
• FOCUS: Touch manual

In post-production I turned the photo from color to black and white using the Cyberlink PhotoDirector software, lowering the color saturation completely, and then adjust slightly contrast and sharpness. I hope the photo is to your liking. A hug from Lecce ... @giocondo83

La foto è stata scattata a Norma di Latina, nella casa di una gentile signora anziana amica di mia madre , la quale mi ha dato il permesso di pubblicare l'immagine. Per immortalare quest'immagine mi sono servito del mio smartphone Asus Zenfone con l'app di base e con le seguenti caratteristiche:

• ISO : 125
• EV : +0.5
• WB : 0
• SCATTO : 1/30
• MEGAPIXELS : 13
• FOCUS : Manuale touch

In post-produzione ho trasformato la foto da colorata a bianco e nero servendomi del software Cyberlink PhotoDirector , abbassando del tutto la saturazione dei colori, per poi regolare leggermente contrasto e nitidezza. Spero che la foto sia di vostro gradimento. Un abbraccio da Lecce... @giocondo83
