Israel’s growth demographics make labor productivity statistics not comparable
https://en.globes.co.il/en/article-israels-economic-skies-darken-1001267201
This article ignores the crucial difference between Israel and all other advanced economies. Israel’s labor force is growing rapidly with lots of young people. Everywhere else the labor force is shrinking with lots of old people. Obviously an experienced 60 year old has a higher productivity than a 20 year old. But soon that 60 year old will leave the workforce forever and the 20 year old will get more productive.
The whole labor force productivity issue is a false comparison based on completely different demographic profiles.
Israel is the only advanced economy with a future of growth. Everywhere else is just managing decline.
