iPhone - Tip: How to send a message using invsible ink using a hidden function in iMessage on your iPhone.

in iphone •  8 months ago

This video shows you how to use the iPhone's built in iMessage to send an invisible ink message to another iPhone user using a hidden function of the built-in iMessage. I discovered how to do it by accident.

  • Open iMessage
  • Type your message
  • Press down HARD on the send button
  • A menu will pop up with five special effects options, "Screen", "Slam", "Loud", "Gentle", and "Invisible Ink"

Select the dot next to "invisible ink", and click "Send"

And that's not all. The new menu leads you to loads of new features. See some examples below:

the iphone is the best phone on the planet and this funsion of iphone is interesting.

I only have one problem, unfortunately, because of my lifestyle, I would need an indestructible phone that can withstand blows, that is against water and that the glass is really gorilla glass. There are many discussions about the capacity to resist water or just splash water, according to the series 6 onwards can resist water. but here in my country, unfortunate it would be a problem to have such an expensive telephone.
I would go for a cheaper phone, among the options are:

Kyocera DuraForce Pro E6820

Caterpillar Cat S40

Ruggear RugGear RG710

·

It is so sad that it would be dangerous to carry an iPhone in Venezuela. Here nearly everyone has a smartphone. I pray for things to improve. The photo below is from the train a few days ago.

Can you spot the guy with no phone?

·
·

it's amazing, technology connects us and at the same time separates us, everyone has a telephone in their hands, but they ignore the person they have next to them.
I recently saw a video that made me reflect. I've been absent from steemit by spending time on things that are important. (My family) Here I will share the video with you.

·
·
·

That’s a really funny video, that I enjoyed very much!

You're right to spend more time on your family than steemit. I need to do that too - see below.

I have been very tired after two serious illnesses late last year. I am still being treated. I wondered if I was spending too much time in the night on Steemit. I should stop replying to comments in the night? You can see how I feel by looking at this blog:

https://steemit.com/steemit/@whatsup/don-t-sign-up-for-steemit-my-riches-to-rags-story

·
·
·
·

the publication is very good, I shared it in my blog, fortunately almost nothing of that tragedy happened. but it is a story that makes anyone reflect.
I'm sorry I can not help you from here with your illness. Here are herbs that cure many diseases. Our aborigines were experts in the use of herbs. My father also has books to cure many diseases naturally.

I'll tell karlin to pray with me, for his health. It is necessary that you are well, you must take care of yourself, the baby is the most important person and really needs you, more than any of us.

·
·
·

Very funny...looks like the future

Been a while @swissclive. Hope you've been alright? I wish i use iPhone. This info would have come in handy.

·

Thanks @olawalium. I've been a little ill so was not posting very much. I am still very tired.

I just found this amazing iPhone feature by accident, and couldn't wait to share it with everyone.

·
·

Get well soon.!

·
·

Wow! So sorry about that. I really wish there is something i can do to make you feel better and stronger. Maybe i should sing for you haha. So sorry. You will be fine. How long have you been ill? Taken meds and feeding more on fruits i hope?

Wow...your selfless heart couldn't help but to share the info even though you are tired. You always impress me @swissclive.

·
·
·

Sing him back to sleep so he can get some rest! Health>steemit!

·
·
·
·

I will, at her request @charitybot. 😊

·
·
·

@swissclive please be strong for us.
My friend @olawalium actually told me about the educative and helpful informations you share on your blog. Please keep it up, you are amazing.

·
·

Sorry to hear about your illness. Get well soon.

Hugs.

·
·

Sorry dear, please be strong, we love you. Personally I missed you here
💞

·
·

Sorry to hear that you were ill and still tired. You should take rest for some time more so that you may physically fit to work more. Though this is very good approach to share useful information with others in this condition. It shows your generosity to the world.Love it :)

·
·

Get well soon ma'am. It is well with you

·
·

Stay safe...wishing you a miracle from God.

This is an awesome feature of iphone and very well demonstrated by you.

And personally I love adjusting bubble style.

There are so many features, iphone users are unaware of and this is also one of them and thank you for demonstrating this one.

God Bless you and Keep steemiting.

·

Yh...so stunning...i like it.

Oh... Wonderful! ...is your screen broken? :(
Well... Unfortunately i don't use an iPhone
Thanks anyways @swissclive :)
Let me repay the favor by sharing a trick with you!
Hope you like it!

You may have to try this on your laptop
Goto www.google.com
Type "zerg rush" (without the quotes) and hit the search button.

·

I just typed "zerg rush" into google and the pesky little monsters ate all the words. I found that you can stop them if click on them before the words are eaten, but you have to be fast with the mouse, and they are pretty relentless, coming at you from all sides with no warning.

·
·

Countering zerg rushes requires high apm, you need to make sure to research stim packs before sending your marines out into open terrain. Maybe you need to build more barracks if they decided to 7 pool you.

·
·

loL! Really!!?.. i didn't even know about this... i just do it for fun all the time.
... i'll give it a try :))

·

Hehe I couldn't figure it out...you win

Hello friend, it is now that I can read your publication I've been quite busy, to part of it, my computer is very slow, and I've been looking these days several options of some laptop models used to be able to buy, since new get an eye of the face here in m i country, and not to mention an iphone, that here is landscape.
That good that can have those phones, ami would love to have one, but I'll stay with the desire, hahaha, we've been looking for some cheaper models but that meet expectations.
I read also that has been a bit ill health, I imagined, we always pray for you that Dios take care of him and him of many more years of life and health. The truth is that steemit is like a drug, the more desire to want to win and be published, but I left me a little of that, we are organizing ourselves more in the House, and doing errands, must maintain a balance.
I hope that this translation is understood, since it is me difficult to work with the small laptop that I have for the slow which is, I think this week I'll have a better.
God take care of him greetings to family, hugs and kisses for the little baby.

·

I hope that this translation is understood, since it is me difficult to work with the small laptop that I have for the slow which is

Oh, I understand you well. As it is - to work on a small netbook, I myself have been working on this for a long time.

Thanks very much @swissclive, this iPhone feature is really amazing, I didn't know about it before.
I had noticed that your activity on Steemit has become less than before, so I guessed you've been a little ill. It is a pity that I can not help you!
I hope you will be healthy soon. I know how to get sick. Now I have a toothache
although I has already visited the dentist, so I am not posting very much, too.

This iPhone feature is very much helpful and your description is detailed and understandable, so I Upvoted 100% and REsteemed this your post for me and my friends!

·

Maybe you can find a toothache cure on your iPhone LOL.

·
·

Thanks for this your joke, I love it :)
My tooth hurts less, I hope you feel better, too..
I'm helped by the books of physician Michael Greger about preventing and reversing many diseases.. Have you read his books? I'm sure they'll help you.

Thanks boss @swissclive for this great teaching, God bless you for being a great motivator on this Platform, I am proud of you

hello @swissclive
Wow! Thanks for this. I really never knew that there's a feature like this...iPhone are One of the most complicated gadget ever produced..i will get one soon.plz get better
. Wish u great health. Thanks so much..
nd tnx for sharing
#cheers
@vickyrich

·

Hi there! Thanks for the comment. What country do you come from?

I am really glad you found my iPhone tip to be useful. Even though you don't own one! LOL.

I was disappointed that you didn’t up-vote my blog though. If you like a blog, it’s generally customary to upvote it. Perhaps this was just a little oversight on your side. Don’t worry – I’m not after votes or anything. I really appreciated your comment.

·
·

Am from nigeria @swissclive..
i am not really here for your upvotes mah...i was reading recent feeds nd darts wen i saw yours...i forgot to give u an upvote but just did...i will follow ur post frequently as of now cos u share inspirational post that are useful to steemit...
More knowledge to ur instincts mah...really appreciate

·
·
·

Don’t worry about not voting. Thanks for explaining. You are not obliged to vote when you comment.

I appreciate your honesty. It’s much better than going into denial as you will see from the behavior of another commentor above. Have a look at what he wrote and my pictures showing his actions. He is a liar.

Maybe you could give him guidance?

I have given you a vote now.

Hello @swissclive How is your health?
I'm sick too, so I do not give much time to Stimit. I have an iPhone 6 (I'm not that rich to afford a newer model) and for me it was the discovery of the hidden function that you described :) I'm sure that very few people know about it :)
Another thing is that the iPhone is a privileged phone in many countries. Many of whom I know buy it only for the sake of what would raise the social status in the eyes of their group. I do not think this is right, since the smartphone should perform certain functions and be useful. But it should not be the subject of an attribute.
The iPhone has a whole cult of admirers. I live in a poor country, and when I saw huge queues on the Internet during sales (the premiere on the day the phone was released), I was shocked.
Ideas are being imposed on people and people are ready to strive for them. But the main ideal is your family. The phone will keep you warm on a cold day and will not take care of you when you are sick. Therefore, we should appreciate the live communication and our family.
Thank you for such an interesting article.

·

Well @dannygreen, I had two serious illnesses last year and since then I feel very tired if I work for more than 12 or 14 hours a day. (Today was just 12 hours work). I think I have to ask for part-time - maybe work 4 days for 15 hours each. My doctor says that even 60 hours a week would be too much, so I could always retire but then who would do the work?

At least that way I could meet my family more.

It came home to me when my oldest son spoke his first words to me. He said “who are you?”.

You’d think he would know that.

I mean, he’s 27 years old, and must have seen me once or twice in our house.

·
·

@swissclive is that statement about your son true?
I apologize but at first I thought that you are trolling us.

·
·
·

It illustrates the point. I should work less.

·
·

I understand that your work is important to you, but right now it is exactly the moment when you have to give your body to rebuild. I think "everything that's done - all for the better" - is an old saying, the meaning that says that everything that happens to us should be taken lightly.
I think now this is the chance in your life when you can spend time with your son, I think that the family is very important.
I think that the decision to work on a full-time basis is the most accurate. Your doctor should be right.
I wish you to make the right decision

imessagewwdc20168.gif

My dad has i-phone and from him only sometimes I get a chance to use i-phone, but one day I will also own this and this is really a perfect way to surprise the nearest and dearest ones by sending invisible messages.

Thank you mam for making us understood about this....steem on and stay blissful...

Hi @swissclive
It's only my 2nd day on STEEM. I'm glad to find you here. Your older posts seem even more better. I hope you'd keep posting great stuff.

When you are too busy to post try few of these tips & tricks posts. They are nifty and informative.

I'd also like to learn more about different applications of the STEEM blockchain. DTube seem genuinely good. It reminds me of the old YouTube. With the adpocalypse going well be getting lots of attraction.

Happy to follow you.

·

Adpocalypse!!!!! Is that a new word? Did you invent it? Great word! Dtube seems to have problems for me in uploading from an ipad, so it still feels like 1999.

Yes this is very much helpful for iphone users and this is very well described by you @swissclive.

What I could understand here is that when someone sends a message with invisible ink, then I can see the outline of the text, but the content will be covered with black and white dots and when I swipe on the message, I can see the text.

This is really really helpful, because we need to know all these hacks of iphone and at times it becomes a necessary phenomena also depending upon the situation.

Thank you so much for this video @swissclive. Have a great day.

Tips like this can make life a bit easier... thanks for sharing!

This is what I call a useful tips, thank you for that :)

One of the coolest features of Apple's new iOS 10 operating system is the ability to send and receive secret / invisible messages between your friends, family and colleagues.

If you have an iPhone 5, 6 or 7 then you can download Apple's latest iOS 10 operating system now and enjoy sending invisible ink text!

@swissclive this is indeed great. I was wondering when I'd learn this but you just made it easier for me.
Thanks a lot.

You're blessed

·

Thanks for the vote @swissclive
I'm looking forward to learning more from your posts

You're blessed

OMG, It was so interesting! Thanks for the informative video. I have been using an iPhone for 3 years and I didn't know this feature, I saw the first time. You are doing well, keep going!
All the best.

Waooo, never knew this and i have been carrying this for quite some time now, this is a piece of an advice and will sure use it properly, thanks @swissclive

Great info! Wasn't aware of this function! Thanks a lot!

Wow! This is nice. All these while I never knew.
I can recall my brother complaining about this. This has indeed coloured my evening with smiles. Thanks Dear.
I will stay tuned for more tips from you.

·

Thanks for the vote @swissclive. 😘😘😘

·
·

You are welcome. It's a pity you didn't give me a vote. Ah - well, I'm not here for the money, so it does not matter.

·
·
·

Sorry my VP was low. it's back up and I've done that. 😘

Wow! This is awesome, thanks for sharing this wonderful piece, i have learnt a lot already.

Hmm - That's a really cool feature - this little tweaks are what makes having an elite phone so fun - I am an android guy so I own a Galaxy Note 8 and the feature of "live messages" (google it - it's really cool!) that is pretty useless in functionality terms but is so fun me and my wife sat for about an hour writing things to each other with this feature :)

Seeing that little tweak makes me a bit jealous of you iPhone people, but I'll stick with my android for the time being :) I will just hope they ill learn from Apple and copy that feature and I'll go and check it on my neighbor's iPhone X - he will really be surprised and pleased to see an android fella like I am coming interested and enthusiastic about his iPhone!

thanks for sharing that :)
Nati.

Apple products appear to be the most sophisticated in the market with a lot of hidden features which might be under-utilized. Thanks to tutorials by smart and witty users such as this. This can help other users get the best out of their devices. Good job!

@swissclive I've used iphone for months and never knew this. It's incredible. Let me go try it out!
.
Oh real! This works..

@swissclive, thanks so much for updating us with this. I just shared this with a friend who is using an iPhone and it was of greater help to her. Thanks so much and get well soon dear

Seriously! This is an eye opener indeed! Thanks a gazillion for this info @swissclive! Sending it out to my peeps who use Iphones asap. I'm also sharing it on Twitter...thank u!

Woah .......didn't know a feature like this was on the ios It actually works

I am really blessed to be reading your posts anytime you post because they are not just informative but educative and inspirational.

Using IPhone have always been my dream. I just wish one day the dream will come true.

Thanks again for this great Post sir

This is really cool! I do not have an Apple phone and have been using Samsung products for years now. I have been flirting with the idea of making the switch but I keep talking myself out of it. One if my good friends on here (Rebeccaryan) recently switched from Android to IOS and I think she is having a tough time adjusting. I will be able to upgrade this summer, so I have to decide between the S9 or take the plunge lol!

Hah, this sounds a lot like using the messaging service in windows to send notes to your buddies in computer class back in the day! Lol "now we can talk to everyone in my family" indeed with this.

Hey swiss man, I haven't seen you posting for a while, were you in a vacation? Or are you preparing some secret things at which you are using this iPhone function :D

Like this is on the iPhone? no wonder my friends rave about it and i am sure they have no idea this function exists and i will be the one to show them and watch them eat off my hands and i am surely going to get myself one soon. Thanks @Swissclive.

Wow, the invisible ink effect looks really interesting! ^_^

I've never owned an iPhone but it definitely has some unique features, including some minor but quite cute abilities such as this one.

Thanks for sharing.

Great Tips@swissclive.
Can't relate to that, I'll share it with my friends using iPhone thou

Thanks for this @swissclive, i've been stuck on this for a while now. You're the best

Wow, amazing that something so simple could be this elusive until you just showed me how, i should have fun with this, hehe.
Thanks for the enlightenment @swissclive :D
I followed.

Wow @swissclive you are great. Don't have an iphone. But seen it from friends phone. Its awesome..

Invisible ink allows you to have a message with a big reveal — by sending a blank message that can only be read by swiping across the screen.Thankyou for telling us about such an amazing features , i really don't know about it before and welcome back you posted after a long time.

·

Thank you for enlightening us more sir, indeed we have been carrying a great device and literally had no idea what it was capable of doing, now de security officers can find a new way of makinh their job less stressful. Thanks @swissclive and @markzuckerbergs

Most times mistakes turns out to be good.. Nice findings, who knows if it was also a mistake by the makers of iphone to put such features, we never would know i guess.

I wish I have an iPhone so I could try the feature. I'm thinking of buying one in future, I never thought sending massages with an invisible ink even possible before. Just imagine those people who have the gadget and be able to test it immediately, they must be having so much fun right now.

It works! Never knew texts fonts were an option. We’ll have fun with this.

I do not yet have an IPhone.

However, I regest your video. Because there is an idea, what you focus on is attracted to life.

If you make a fast post with a video about the details of the iPhone, then it may appear in my life soon :)

I read comments about the disease - be reared! I like how some commentators write that they pray for you. It's really important and great that it is.

I could not immediately write a comment once you posted your post. And I am glad that I can do it now.

Thank you!

resteem and upvote

wow
This is amazing, iPhone are One of the most complicated gadget ever produced, sometimes doing basic stuffs could be so hell of a job, thanks for making this a lot easier @swissclive

Our world can only get better if we continue to develop our abilities and challenge our thoughts.

My mom struggled with her iPhone, she could not do this, your post just helped her understand the phone better.

HAPPY STEEMING

·

yes @ambdavid you really saying the truth there, our world continues to develop and more post are coming

·

Thanks so much for your nice comment!

What country do you come from?

I am very glad you liked the tip.

By the way, you may have noticed that I voted many of the comments anything from $0.39 to $39 depending on my mood. However, as I have limited voting power, I could not vote everybody.

I noticed that you did not vote my blog, so sadly that’s why I left you out. It doesn’t mean that I am not happy worth your comment. I am very happy with it thanks! I just had to make a choice. I hope I can upvote your comments or blogs in the future.

·
·

You were right @swissclive
I apologize

·
·
·

@ambdavid, it's really unfair to see you come to this extent lying about your upvote and comment when you really know what you have done. No one is obliged to upvote or comment on a any blog, it's a choice so therefore, you have no right to question anyone why he or she had remove his upvote? Your actions here says it all that you are a big and fat liar with your friend @akaninyeneudom, you guys needs to be guided on how steemit works, it's not a get rich quick platform, it takes hard work, consistency, determination and a good will to be somebody or recognised here and of course, be opened to be corrected too. Going by the images shown by @swissclive it's shows that you lied and steemit doesn't encourage acts like that if really you are here for the purpose of steemit or are you here for your own special interest? Be guided before you get guarded next time by being flagged to zero, thank you.

Loading...

that's really a nice idea there @swissclive . it will serve as an eye opener in typing messages with an invisible ink. wish i had an iphone to do this wonderful . nice video there

·

It seems you were impressed by the "eye-opener" utility of my blog about the iPhone hidden feature, even though you don’t have an iPhone, and can’t benefit from it. That’s very surprising. I thought my blog would only be of interest to people who already own an iPhone.

By the way, what country do you come from? Is it easy to buy an iPhone in your country?

I couldn’t help noticing that you did not upvote my blog. That’s why I didn’t upvote you. I guess you found my blog interesting anyway. I hope to be able to vote on your future comments or blogs.

I really do appreciate your comments, by the way.

Let's all remember @swissclive in our prayers, she had been very sick for sometime now.

Thanks so much dear for finding time to post this, you are healed.

·

Duly cured! Thanks very much. where are you from to perform such magic?

I think you forgot to vote my blog. Don't worry, I am not after votes. your magic cure is better.

That helps. Thank you.

·

I really appreciate our conversation on this new iPhone feature, although to be honest, it wasn't much of a conversation from your side.

Do you own an iPhone, and did you manage to make this work?

I am sorry that I did not upvote your well deserved comment, but I can’t upvote everyone due to limited voting power. I noticed that you did not upvote my blog, so I had to leave you out.

I do hope I can vote on your interesting or useful comments in the future. To qualify for a future upvote, try to think about how you can add value to other readers. Short comments containing little new useful or interesting information, like this, will often get missed.

By the way, I was wondering which country you live in?

·
·

Actually I'll have to admit it, this was one of the greatest lesson That I have learnt about commenting on Steemit and it happened on the day I completed my first one week on Steemit.

Am kind of ashamed when I look at this comment because this is one part I have been preaching against but I guess I allowed greed to blind my decision.

I usually appreciate reading through post that are of interest to me before giving my opinion but when I heard there's is a gold well flowing out of @swissclive post I forgot about all that and allowed greed took over.

So to your question
Do I own an iphone? No

was this post useful? From the comments I guessed it was to those who own it.

Do I regret making this kind of dishonest comment? I was but I have accepted it as a lesson and have even written a post about it so others will learn.

And lastly, where do I live? Nigeria, I hope you do not use my action to judge others from my country.

·
·
·

I give you a modest upvote for your frankness and honesty. I hope you can write many interesting blogs or comments in the future.

Tell me about how you heard “there’s a gold well flowing out of @swissclive”. Who told you? How many people heard the same thing from the same place do you think? I am very interested to know how this news flows in Nigeria.

·
·
·
·

Thank you. You know a $35 dollar upvote might not sound much but it definitely can help do a lot to most people. So if one person is to get that kinda vote, he will likely or definitely tell his friend who will then tell his own friend and so and so words do go round....

I noticed a little issue with @ambdavid and @akaniyeneudom above. I hope you will let go of it and we all move on in our different paths.

Once again thank you and please I won't want to continue with response on this particular blog thread. Have a beautiful week.

Wow... @swissclive is back again. Great personality. Though Iphone is so complicated, it still very awesome. Wow... This just worked. Thanks for this information. This is so interesting. Wish u great health. Thanks so much

·

I am very glad to learn you could make this special feature (hidden feature) on the iPhone work for you.

You may be wondering why I voted so many people with up to $39, but did not leave you an up-vote. Unfortunately, like all steemians, I only have limited voting power, so I decided to only vote for people who liked this blog enough to vote for it. It looks like you forgot to vote, so sadly you missed my vote back.

I do however appreciate your comment very much and I am looking forward to up-voting your future comments if they are useful to those reading my blog.

Is it easy to buy a phone in your country? Is it expensive there? Where do you live?

·
·

Awww eeya so sorry about that. I was too anxious to comment due to the fact dat you just got back after a while, and forgot to upvote. I also look forward to upvoting and commenting on your posts subsequently. I'm from Nigeria and phones are quite easy and cheap to get. I really appreciate your reply. Thanks so much. Have a great day.

·
·

Wwooooww...I have had my iPhone for sometime now but never knew about this. How come am just getting to find this out now. Thought I already knew everything about my iPhone.

But on a second thought, can't this be decripted? If everyone gets to know about this, then sooner or later someone will find a way to decript hidden messages like this.

I know iPhone security is top notch but you never can tell what these geniuses out there are capable of. (Lol)

Edit: wow just tried it and it worked. Thanks for sharing this @swissclive

·

I am really glad that you are an iPhone user, and can use this tip to impress your friends.

Where are you from? Do most people in your country own an iPhone? Here it is nearly one in three.

You probably noticed that I voted many people who commented with amounts of up to $39. I didn’t vote for you as I noticed that you didn’t vote for my blog. I do like your comment, but I had only limited voting power, so I gave my votes only to those who voted for me.

Thanks for your comments nevertheless.

·
·

Helo @swissclive, I admit that I am wrong. Didn't know you took notice of those who upvote your blog. Upvoting when I like a post has never been a problem for me but as at the time I read this post , my voting power was already very low as I had been upvoting people all day and needed it to grow and again, I am still a minnow and new on steemit and I though my vote wouldn't mean anything much to you reason being that my voting power Worth's just $0.02 but neverthe less I appreciate that you found my comment worth upvoting...won't make this mistake again . I have upvoted it now.

thanks a bunch

·
·
·

Don’t worry about forgetting to vote. Anyone could make that mistake and you are not obliged to vote when you comment.

I appreciate your honesty in confessing that it was a simple mistake rather than going into denial as you will see from the behavior of another commentor above. Have a look at what he wrote and my pictures showing his actions.

I have given you a vote now.

Thanks a lot @swissclive, I really do appreciate your kind gesture.

how do this work i got a iphone 6plus my is 10.2 ios and my arrow is green and my microphone speaker is not on my text bar

Seems you were impressed by the utility of my blog about the iPhone hidden feature.

Thanks so much for your nice comment!

nice idea there, the invisible ink project gonna be awesome . gonna try it straight away on my iphone. really a nice project and the video you uploaded was intriguing

Happy steeming!

·

Hi there, I am so glad that you found this tip helpful. Do you have an iPhone? If not, do you hope to buy one in the future?

I meant to ask. I was interested in your name. What country are you from and what is your mother tongue.

By the way, I noticed that you did not vote for my blog (no upvote). No worries, it seems from your comment you liked it anyway.

Thanks @swissclive for this wonderful tip.. We most times have all we need in front of us but because of our limited knowledge, we tend to miss out in a lot..
.
Thanks for sharing this awesome tip.. Looking forward to learning more from you.. Cheers

·

I much appreciate you taking the time to comment on my blog, and I am glad you liked the iPhone tip. I was slightly puzzled though why you neglected to vote for my blog. Was that a mistake?

I still appreciate your comment. Thanks!

Where do you come from? Do you have an iPhone yourself? How much does it cost in your country?

a very successful and pleasant video thank you :)

Wow, and to think I knew a lot about the Apple brand, good job @swissclive , at least I have learnt something vital and important today.

·

Thank you for commenting so positively on this iPhone hidden feature tip.

There were around 150 comments on this blog, but only around 80 votes. You were one of the people who commented but did not vote. It surproised me that this would happen. Maybe a lot of people found it too much work to click the vote bitton, or maybe they just don’t know how to do it. Don’t worry, it’s not a criticism of you. I liked your comment very much anyway. I just wondered what happened?

Do you have an iPhone? It’s not clear in your reply. Where do you live? Do most people in your country prefer iPhone or Android – or something else? Is it expensive?

·
·

Currently, no I don't, I used to but had to sell it of to settle some bills, my country prefers the andriod due to its reduced cost compared to the iPhone.

It works fine...I just tried It......thank you so much for the knowledge

·

Just tried too and it worked...
Great information

·

It’s great that this useful tip works for you. I noticed that you did not up-vote my blog. No worries – you probably were in a hurry?

By the way, what country do you come from?

·
·

I was so happy to try out the trick @swissclive..i had to let my friends know about it....just slept over it and woke up this morning to see your vote was no where to be found...am from nigeria it was past midnight just had to put some post on my blog then i saw your post and i couldnt wait to tell everyone.

·
·

Maybe you could give him guidance?

I have given you a vote now.

·
·
·
·

Thank you.

You are a darling, @swissclive. Thank so much, I don't know how you found this out, but God bless you.

·

Your comment is much appreciated. I found this special hidden feature by accident when I was pressing to hard on the send button.

I couldn’t help noticing that you did not up-vote my blog, even though you seemed to like it so much. It is fairly customary to up-vote blogs that you like. Is it because you don’t have an iPhone?

Don’t worry, I am not after the votes, or the money. I just comment on this because it surprised me. I voted up to $39 for many of the best and most interesting blogs here, but as I can only vote a limited amount of people, I had to leave out those who did not vote for me. Sorry. I enjoyed your comment anyway, and I do hope to vote on your future comments or blogs.

I was interested to know what country you come from? What is the phone situation like where you live?

Wow. This is really educating @swissclive . Thank you for this, I have always had issues doing this. You just got yourself a new fan.

·

It's great to have you as a "fan". I am so glad that you found this tip helpful. Do you have an iPhone? If not, do you hope to buy one in the future?

I meant to ask? What flag is that in your logo. Is it Iceland? It must be too cold to have an iPhone there?
If not Iceland, tell me what country are you from and what is your mother tongue?

By the way, I noticed that you did not vote for my blog (no upvote). No worries, it seems from your comment you liked it anyway.

·
·

I once had, but i sold it to pay a debt. It's quite expensive in my country, but i hope to buy another soon, if i can make enough cash from steemit. I'm from Nigeria.

I thought i upvoted the post earlier, i guess my network provider was bad. But, check now, the upvote has been confirmed.

So how bout you? Where are you from?

·
·
·

Can you guess where I’m from?

·
·
·
·

If I'm to make a wild guess, I'd say you're from the United States. I think they have the highest number of steemians, and there's a probability you are from the US. I might be wrong though.

·
·
·
·
·

Impressive guess!

·
·
·
·
·
·

Was i correct? Are you from the US?

·
·

·
·
·
·

Thank you for appreciating my honesty. I'm now a fan.

What the fuck!
Dunno iPhone have such a cool and awesome feature,
Gonna get my way to become an iPhone user,
This is really awesome

·

I really appreciate our conversation on this new iPhone feature. According to your third word, it seems to have astonished you?

It's a pity that you are not an iPhone user yet - so will not be able to enjoy the hidden secret message function.

I am sorry that I did not upvote your well deserved comment, but I can’t upvote everyone due to limited voting power. I noticed that you did not upvote my blog, so I had to leave you out.

I do hope I can vote on your interesting or useful comments in the future.

By the way, I was wondering which country you live in? Judging by your choice of words, I am assuming it is not Nigeria? (I guess there shouldn't be too many from there on my blog, - so that was an easy one. LOL.)

·
·

Did Steve Jobs even know about this? R.I.P.
Great information. Hope this is not supposed to be top secret and you're not in trouble :P

·

I bet steve most have been away of this but kept hidden for a purpose, maybe it was some incripted stuff for security purpose that could only be used for top secretive stuffs, stuffs like this makes the world alot more easier to live in. Thanks @swissclive, learnt one more secret today.
HAPPY STEEMING

·

I have no idea if this is top secret. I found it by accident and had to immediately share it with the world. Judging by the many replies, it does look like it could have been a secret function, as nobody seems to know about it.

The trick to revealing the message under the secret ink is to rub it out with your finger - but it comes back quickly.

·
·

This is just amazing... It worked on my IOS device and without doubt, it's a secret, cos nobody would ever think of holding down the send button when i could just tap on it once to get what i want? Hell yea, you are a genius.

·
·

There's a little chance that this is a top secret but who knows, if you get a call from unknown number tomorrow i suggest you to be careful. And if you see some guys wearing black suits, sunglasses and earphones i say run :D
Well i looked for this little bit and i think it's not a top secret but you might be the first person to find it by accident. At least that's a relief for your security :P

·
·
·

I really appreciate our conversation on this new iPhone feature.

By the way, I was wondering which country you live in?

·
·
·
·

Well, i wasn't after your upvote anyway, a funny comment came in to my mind i so wanted to share with you so that's why i forgot to upvote in a rush.
You upvoted my comment (so you had the voting power) and some others and i saw you unvoted so many in a short time, and i thought that i said a bad thing.
I think unvoting a person's comment can be done if you see a suspicious activity or spam. Otherwise it's just mean.
It's nothing about with the money but common courtesy. So i don't want to be mean but i am not going to continue our conversation and wish you a good luck.

this is amazing i am going to try this know wow ... just loved it

IMG_5937.PNG

Wow, I'm wowed... this is such an amazing feature. I'm wondering how I couldn't even think about this all along. Thanks for sharing.

·

Your comment thanking me for sharing is much appreciated. I bet there are more features you have not discovered.

I found this special hidden feature by accident when I was pressing to hard on the send button.

I couldn’t help noticing that you did not up-vote my blog, even though you seemed to like it so much. It is fairly customary to up-vote blogs that you like. Is it because you don’t vote other people's blogs?

Don’t worry, I am not after the votes, or the money. I just comment on this because it surprised me. I was interested to know what country you come from?

·
·

I'm Nigerian and yes i use an iPhone. You prolly noticed wrong as i voted your blog shortly after i made this comment, but I have no issue with you taking off the comment. It's fine. Begging for upvotes is frowned up, I won't have to beg for you to upvote my comment again. And of cos, like you said, you hope to upvote blog posts and comments in future, i guess that's reassuring enough.

And most definitely, it is customary one votes a post or comment he/she finds interesting and i find this post interesting and educating. So you have my vote already and I'm not taking it back cause your post is worth it.

Thanks for sharing nonetheless. Stay steeming kiss

·

·

Hello @swissclive...
I have gone through the facts you provided and you seem to be right and your actions are justified.

I guess they should be sorry about their actions right now but it then becomes your responsibility to forgive and ignore what happened, I believe they won't repeat such again.

Cheers!!

This is an eye opener
Thanks for info
Highly appreciated
Steem on and welcome back

·

Yes, it was an eye-opener for me too. I am glad you liked the iPhone tip. I was slightly puzzled though why you neglected to vote for my blog. Was that a mistake?

I still appreciate your comment. Thanks! let's all do as you say, and "steem-on"

Where do you come from? Do you have an iPhone yourself? How much does it cost in your country?

welcome to dTube

I am so bad at technology. I had to go and google what invisible ink is. It is some type of animation on the text message.

I am so old fashion as I currently still on ios 6. Although my primary phone is an andriod. The invisible ink feature starts at ios 10.

·

It seems that many people, like you, found this to be an interesting and useful comment! I am just sad that your iphone is so old that you can't use the feature. Why don't you buy a new one? Is it easy to buy a phone in your country? Is it expensive there? Where do you live?

The ratio between voting and blogs puzzled me.

At this point I have received 147 comments – which is a lot. (I can’t upvote all of them sadly).

I was very puzzled that with so many comments, I got so few votes. Only 82 votes. Most people get more votes than comments, so that is quite puzzling?

I noticed you were one the people who commented – but decided not to vote. Don’t worry, I’m not chasing votes. I’m just puzzled what happened?

Thanks very much and good luck in your future comments.

·
·

Apologies for neglecting to upvote. Sometimes I just rush into commenting and not realized upvote was missed. No worries as I can understand your standpoint.

I am from US but I do not do much on my phone. I mostly just call and recieve calls. I do look on steemit and other crypto websites on the phone but never log in. Just use computer. Nothing to do with privacy or security, I just got use to it. It is difficult to accept purchasing a $700-$1000 dollar phone and knowing in one year it gets replaced with a better one. Maybe its just me but I do not think phones should be worth so much.

I don't even have a new notebook computer either. lol. Borrowing one from someone so I am steeming. I should start looking for one as steemit is a place I am on daily. Thanks.

@swissclive it's been a while, welcome back. Hope we won't have to miss you this long again.
Thanks for this post, just tried it and it worked perfectly well

·

I am really glad that you are an iPhone user. Also glad you made it work. I hope you can use this tip to impress your friends.

Thanks for sharing this, iPhone has taken gadgetry to another level, I have always been reluctant to get one because of the negative feedback.

I will look back at this and hopefully get one in the near future

·

I am glad to hear that you are going to buy an iPhone! It seems you were impressed by the utility of my blog about the iPhone hidden feature, even though you don’t have an iPhone, and can’t benefit from it.

I rally appreciate your comments, by the way.

·
·

It is easy to get an iPhone here, it's just the money

I hope to get one, stories of difficulty to use have always swayed my mind away from owning.

But honestly, I didn't even read through it, my idea of steemit judges quality posts based on a person's reputation, that why I dashed in to comment.

We are told as newbies to engage with people of higher reputation through comments.

Honestly i am sad you found my acts naive

I will keep on learning here

Am sorry for spoiling your mood

Wow
So this is the trick?
Its amazing what we do with technology.
I'll show my big sis this and also keep this to be practiced when i get my iPhone

IPhone is affordable over here
Individual tastes just differs....

As for the many comments and few votes, it happens. This is steemit and i think your upvotes on comments attracted more attention. It shouldn't be surprising to you though. Steemit is a community of communities

Feel free to visit my blog, you could learn a thing or two smiles

As amazing as this discovery is, it has more exciting features!Screenshot_20180128-004001.png

·

Hey this is amazimg. You just discovered loads more features!

·

I noticed that you did not upvote my blog even though you found it so amazing! No worries - perhaps it was an oversight?

By the way, where do you come from? Can you buy iPhones in your country?

·
·

I am Nigerian and yes it is possible to buy iPhones in my country, I use one. My apologies for not upvoting your comment, it's customary to do so. Steemit is a social network, not just about upvotes and money but also a community where you get to meet people and build friendship. Having said that, I went through your blog and noticed you post quality things so I followed and will upvote future posts....keep steeming!!!

·
·
·

Don’t worry about forgetting to vote. It is easily done when you are in a hurry. I hope to read interesting thing from you in the future. I gave you an upvote now.

·
·

Thank you😀

Oh damn!!! I’ve been sleeping on my phone’s features🤦🏾‍♂️ Thanks for the tips...I’m about to blow some people’s mind with this. Lol

·

Hi there! That's excatly how I found this feature - by sleeping on my iPhone.

What country do you come from?

I am really glad you found my iPhone tip to be useful.

I was disappointed that you didn’t up-vote my blog though. If you like a blog, it’s generally customary to upvote it. Perhaps this was just a little oversight on your side. Don’t worry – I’m not after votes or anything. I really appreciated your comment.

·
·

Lool, You found this by sleeping on your phone..for real?!
I’m from Nigeria by the way and apologies for not upvoting guess I was overwhelmed by iPhone tips. Upvoted and followed! 👌🏾

·
·
·

Don’t worry about not voting. Thanks for explaining. You are not obliged to vote when you comment.

Maybe you could give him guidance?

I have given you a vote now.

It's just a fancy way of sending a message. They could have given better functions like auto send a message on a specific time or something of that sort. Slamming or sending a message with invisible is not so useful according to me. Teenagers could find it interesting, it depends on one's personal choice though.

Wow, even though you are just recovering, you still find time to show us your new discovery on iPhone. Though, can't try it now cos I don't use a iPhone. I hope I will get one soon.

We can't wait to see you back with full force

·

Seems you were impressed by the utility of my blog about the iPhone hidden feature, even though you don’t have an iPhone, and can’t benefit from it. That’s very surprising. I thought my blog would only be of interest to people who already own an iPhone.

·

@swissclive I'm very sorry that you did not seeing my upvote. I actually Upvoted this post. I guess the poor network made the upvote not to go through.
That is what we battle with here in my country. I'm from Nigeria and to get a very good network has been a challenge here.

Once again, I'm sorry and will upvote the post again right now. I hope the network will do well this time.

I will be happy to see your vote on my future comments and blogs

·
·
·

Don’t worry about the vote. Anyone could make that mistake or it could be your network not working. Anyway, you are not obliged to vote when you comment.

I appreciate your honesty in confessing that it was a simple mistake rather than going into denial as you will see from the behavior of another commentor above.

I have given you a vote now.

·
·
·
·

Thanks. I really appreciate the vote. Hope you are feeling a lot better now?

@swissclive anytime I see an iPhone post. The financial status of my family background tortures me psychologically.
I'll be sincere in my comment here I really don't ve an iPhone. I use a small smart phone and I'd ve love to try the content of your blog sincerely. It will be a thing of joy to Me, two years from now I'll
Graduate from the university, find a job, work Hard, fulfill my dreams & earn big and buy an iPhone.
I envy the rich, only the rich use such an expensive phone in my Country

HAPPY STEEMING

·

So sorry that you don’t have an iPhone! Don’t be jealous. We are all born poor, and when we die we will take nothing with us. In between, anyone can become rich enough – at least to buy an iPhone. Hard work and study is one way. Where do you live? Is it easy to go to school and become qualified then rich?

Not being lazy is another way. There are no get-rich quick schemes that work. Too many people here on Steemit try to et rich quickly, but just waste their time. Talking of laziness – I noticed you didn’t take the time to click the upvote button on this blog. No worries. Maybe it was just a mistake?

Unfortunately, I don't use an iPhone. Someday maybe, i'll be able to afford through the help of steemit. Someday!!!😭😭
Thank you for the information @swissclive

·

I hope you can affor to buy your iPhone sooner rather than later! It seems that many people, like you, found this to be an interesting and useful comment - even without owning an iPhone!!!!!

At this point I have received 157 comments – which is a lot. (I can’t upvote all of them sadly).

Lot's of the people who don't have iPhones also did not vote. I am wondering what the correlation is. Maybe people with no iPhone are jealous, so they do not vote those who do have one? Maybe on the other hand they are too lazy to click an upvote button and are too lazy to work in real life so can't afford the iphone because their income is too low?

Don't worry, I am just having a joke here. I am sure it was some other reason why you didn't vote. I really don't mind.

Thanks very much and good luck in your future comments.

By the way, I was wondering which country you live in?

·
·

So sorry I missed upvoting your post.. I actually thought i did..
Actually I'm from lagos, Nigeria

Thanks alot for the upvote.... I'm really shocked and impressed by the way you find time to reply every comments on your post. I wonder how you do that.
Its safe to say you're an angel or probably gat supernatural powers.
Thank you once again

Those are really cool tips. I'll be sure to use them once I can get myself an iPhone. For now, I'm still using my Android 😁.
Thanks for making using an iPhone a bit more easier

I'm definitely gonna try it out ASAP.

Thanks for sharing this with us @swissclive

very good tips

Hi swissclive, I'm so sorry I didn't upvote your post on time. Its quite unusual and I think it is an oversight or I clicked the upvote button but I didn't work and I didn't notice.

I find it cool that you drew my attention to this. I'll be more careful with it next time.

And oh! I'm not sad you took the upvote back. I'll still follow, read your blog posts and comment cus I always learn from your post.
