Introduction Piece

Social media platforms have grown to become the new way to communicate while simultaneously linking communities near and far together. Social networking sites like Facebook, Google+, and all other social media "giant's", take the diversity of the world and bring it all together in one place out in cyberspace. Through this amazing vessel and with the help of technology, we each get a better understanding of ourselves and the world around us. 

My name is Marki. I am twenty-eight year's old and i reside in Florida, USA. I am new to Steemit, but not "new" to social media. What drove me to come here and start this blog was my curious nature and my incessant need to expand my mind with many different experience's. I have a passion for writing and have since i was a young girl. I just recently started writing again. It has been several year's since i wrote for purely passionate reasons. To me, it has always been a pleasure and something i thoroughly enjoy. I am here to share idea's, personal viewpoints, spread accurate information, engage in dialogue about this thing we humans call life and generally have a good time in doing so. My hope is someone out here will be interested in the topics i choose to elaborate on. I consider myself an open mind, open book, and an open heart sharing this world with the rest of you.
