Distrupting the recruitment industry one step at a time...

It really is amazing, I work as a consultant providing talent acquisition advice, guidance and solutions internationally to the blockchain/DLT, Crypto, Fintech and iGaming sector. These companies and the people that drive them, talk incessantly about innovation, disruptive technology, changing the game and revolutionising their specific fields. Yet, when it comes to building the teams, sourcing and hiring the people that will underpin their success, they recruit like it's the 1990's and we are still in the era of the .Com bubble.

This is my introduction to Steemit. My goal is to share and inspire organisations, thinkers, creators, innovators and those evangelists who embrace and encourage the changing world within our grasp, to actually apply these same principles to the way they hire and the way they engage, assess, select and secure world-class talent.

I don't care how much first, second or third round funding you have, or how successful your ICO was, hiring the right people, first time every time is critical when you are a fast-paced and ambitious organisation looking to go places and change the world. I'm a huge advocate of organisations such as Learning Machine and their approach to using the blockchain for academic records, vocational history and achievements and personal identity. In a world that is globalising by the second our personal identity and achievements should be available anywhere whenever we need it, not reconciled on some government or academic database somewhere.

I'm a part-time amateur anthropologist and sociologist who looks around; lifts the covers and gets under the skin of the challenges we face as a species and just knows deep down that there is so much more we could be doing to change the world we live in and the way we live in it.

My style is blunt, honest, no holds barred or punches pulled authentic. I say what I believe but am always open to having my mind changed and to embracing new ideas.

As an introduction, I hope that gives you some texture and insight into who I am. I look forward to learning, understanding, sharing and discussing new concepts and ideas.
