Lady Flibbertigibbet, or the Girl Who Talks Too Much

I've tried to tackle the social media gauntlet before, but I'm having trouble finding my niche. I've been to all the usual hangouts, I've tried to fit in, but let's be honest fitting in just isn't me. And to be honest I'm not sure what I'm doing here. A few weeks ago an acquaintance of mine insisted I sign up, swearing up and down that STEEMIT is a real game changer. Now I'm not saying I'm a sucker, but figured what the hell, why not. So that's a start, I guess. With that being said, I'm not sure where STEEM will take me, and I'm okay with that.

Though generally speaking, I'm just an explorer like everyone else, and like everyone else I'm trying to make the most out of my human experience. I adore flowers, tattoos, and seek refuge in thunderstorms. I enjoy the spirituality of the kitchen, and find both construction and cars equally fascinating. I'm blessed to travel with the love of my life, and find regional food to be greatest thing since sliced bread! My goal with STEEM is to play to my strengths, and simply be the girl who talks too much.

    1. Keep your passwords safe: Unlike conventional sites, Steemit has 4 types of passwords. Each offers varying degrees of access to your account, so know where and when to use each of them. Also, make sure to keep them all safe and secure.
    2. Get Steem rewards: When writing a post, you'll have the option to choose how to receive your reward: "Default 50%/50%" or "Power Up 100%". As of this moment, choosing Default 50%/50% is the better option. But this can change over time. Check our post to know more.
    3. Upvote wisely: When upvoting, wait at least 30 minutes after the post is published to maximize your curation reward. Also, make sure not to upvote too much too fast so as not to drain your voting power.
    4. Know your Steem, Steem Dollars and Steem Power: Steem and Steem Dollars are the 2 main currencies here. Convert and power up more Steem into Steem Power so you can have higher values on your upvotes.
