Hi Steemit. I'm Tim from Wales.
Hi everyone. Another Facebook defectee here. I've been popping into steemit on and off for a few months but now feels like the right time to start joining in.
To introduce myself... I'm a photographer and filmmaker/producer. 47 years old. In the early 1990's after Uni, I left home and traveled the world insatiably for a few years until I started working as a photographer at The Independent Newspaper in London. Since then, over the last 20 years I've been on a convoluted journey through the media which has ended up with me making films and documentaries for channels like the BBC and Discovery. Truth being told though, I'm most happy making independent films with my mates, which I happily get to do a fair bit these days. Amongst my other work, I also run a photography Scholarship called TAPSA (Timothy Allen Photography Scholarship Award) which we award to 5 photographers from around the world each year.
I live with my family on a former farm in the Welsh Border Hills... very quiet and remote... just the way I like it. Wales is my favourite country in the world.

Hey Tim, good to meet you. You have an impressive resume and the scholarship is great. I am interested to see more! The best way to find new people is probably manual search, although it can be tedious. I have had success following curation trails, @curie 's mainly. The Becquerel site is an amazing tool. Followed.
