Reintroducing my account
For the sake of both of us (you, the reader, and myself, the author), I will keep this reintroduction as brief as possible.
With the publication of my first book (Bits of Dread - David Kain), I have realized that having an account named completely differently than my author name is a bit unfitting.
I have therefore decided to create a new account: @davidkain
What will change?
- I will cease with posting my standalone (short) stories on this account and will post them on @davidkain instead.
- This account will become more of a personal/private type of account where I'll just have fun and post things about myself, freewrites, and practice my humor, while @davidkain will have a more author-y feel to it.

Of course you may! It's "Bits of Dread" by David Kain. It's a collection of 33 (short) stories that vary in length from about 600 words to about 3000 words :P All are morbid in one way or another - usually brutal. ^^
Some of those stories are also available for free through links on the bottom of my posts (check @davidkain and the newest post), and see if that's something you're interested in! ^^

Yep.. must really take to heart the instructions never lose your password when I first signed up :P Thank you for the upvotes, its the heart-felt thought behind them that really counts!
I'm not much active in steemit, but am always hoping to post newer content soon. I've made this acct way back to separate reblogs and content between writing and artsy/other pursuits stuff, but then it looks like they're all bound to be in one place after all after losing the old accnt :|
Yeah. I think I'll make some backups myself. Ugh.

Well you coule always create yet another one if you want it separate, though. Better now than later. :P I made a new acc too and I think it'd be better had I made it the moment I decided to publish something. Every wait is a wait too long. :p
I've had a hard time trying to figure out how to blog on steemit with all the different things I like to write about. I can see how it would make sense to have them separate... so I'm following both of you now :)

I have two blogs now, just one is wordpress with categories and the other is steemit (that I'll probably keep for more of the personal stuff and use the wordpress for mostly fiction that I crosspost to steemit)
Yeah, Steem as a social network (and blogging network, mostly) still has quite a few quirks to fix and features to add. Hopefully, however, we'll see it done. Categories and pinned posts are one of such things. ^^
I see. :P so Steemit basically gets it all in the end? :P
