Introduction
Hi guys! My name is John Eric Orolfo, this is my first post in the community. I'll be sharing some info about myself. I hope we could get along.
I lived in Manila, Philippines , a busy city here at PH. I love programming, solving-problems, playing video games and learning new things that are outside of my comfort zone.
Profession
I do programming for a living, sometimes I take sideline projects for extra income - most of the projects that I worked with are web application related and game development. I really love to program, it's like being some kind of a god that makes interesting things like solving problems that most of the people never knew and creating services to avoid tedious works.
The programming languages that I usually use are: Javascript / NodeJS, GoLang and PHP (ffs). Tech-stack? AWS, including its awesome services like: Lambda, EC2, S3, DynamoDB and Kinesis Stream.
Hobbies
Anime
ANIME! Yep, you read it right. I love watching anime during my free time. I like those genres that are so appealing and intriguing, genres like horror, mystery, gore, fantasy / RPG-like and comedy. As of this writing, I'm currently following The Rise of the Shield Hero, One Punch Man S2 and Kenja No Mago.
Games
I own a PS4, I usually play Monster Hunter: World. I love ARPG / RPG games, its really appealing to my taste. I usually play every night after office shift and of course, during weekends. If you're going to ask me, what are my favorite games, here's the list for you:
- Nier: Automata (the best RPG so far, this is really a MASTERPIECE!)
- Persona 5
- Monster Hunter: World (any in the franchise)
- Kingdom Hearts
- Final Fantasy games
