Welcome to the first edition of our new Steemiteducation blog!

Below is a list of our 5 top educational authors of the day.  We believe that these authors did a great job, and deserve some more exposure.  As we all know, education is a very important part or our lives. Without a proper education none of us would be where we are today.  We started the @steemiteducation account to help promote all the teacher content so that it is all visible on one account.  If you wrote something educational and you feel that your post can benefit a student, please feel free, to add a link to the comments of any of our posts.

These are the goals of the chat room

We recently opened a chat room on Steemit chat and if you want to contribute and help to make a difference, please join us there.   

The goal of this room is to promote posts that will assist educators  in helping their students. This room is intended to be STUDENT CENTERED.  If you aren’t sure if a link belongs here, please ask yourself this  question: “Will this post directly help a student or educator?” if the answer is “no” or “I don’t know” please do not link it there. 

We are  specifically looking for activity ideas, lessons, authentic assessment  ideas, methods, thoughtful worksheets (not busy work), and other  resources that will DIRECTLY help students and educators.

If a post meets these criteria, it will be voted on and resteemed by @steemiteducation. All resteemed posts will be available under the @steemiteducation blog.  

If you want to read interesting and educational posts, you should visit us. Please consider supporting the other quality posts in this channel even if it is not the subject you teach. We are hoping to  build a vibrant education  community.  

 Although, this is currently a very small account, we hope to  build up its voting power and attract a voting trail. We hope to use  this account to attract, encourage, and reward creative educators.
