Hi Steemit family. Hopefully you welcome me with open arms. My name is Gene, and I am a Beekeeper based in Nashville Tennessee with my own beekeeping business named Smalley Bee Honey. I love the bees, and beekeeping in general. I also love to educate people about bees, and bee culture, so don't be afraid to ask me anything about bees. Although I have been beekeeping a little over 5 years my company is fairly new, and it is very different from other beekeeping businesses. My main mission is to be as natural as possible, so I do not feed or medicate my bees. This allows me to provide my customers with some of the best honey there is to offer. Imagine you could walk up to the hive, smash some honey comb like the biggest baddest bear, and get you some stick icky goodness without getting stung! Well that's what my honey is like because I get stung for you, and there is nothing in the bottle but pure nature! People often tell me that my honey tastes different from any other honey that they have ever tasted! This always warms my heart, and lets me know that all my hard work is appreciated.

Another mission of mine is to help people by using the many products of the bee hive to aid in health and longevity. It is very rewarding when someone uses my product, and they report back to me that it has helped them in some way. I sell fresh bee pollen, and I have had plenty of friends, family, and customers that I had never met report to me that the pollen really helped their allergies, or cured their allergies. Even though I understand how all of this works it still amazes and delights me!

Soon I will be offering lip balm made from our all natural unbleached bees wax. I will also be collecting bee venom this year and, this will allow me to make lip plumpers, facial masks, and other medicinal products in the future. I love to share my knowledge and my experiences big or small, so I will be posting pics and footage here. I cannot wait to contribute!
