Hello, Steemit! Nightfox here and ready to post some retro coding content!

Hello everyone,

I have been meaning for a while to begin to teach people how to code way down low level with Motorola 68000 Assembly language programming. If you can do this then you are able to program for such fun and exciting systems as the Commodore Amiga, Atari ST and Sega MegaDrive/Genesis. Once the fundamentals of my course are finished I will guide you step-by-step on how to code some amazing demos on an Amiga, either emulated or on real hardware.

Coding on Amiga in my opinion is a lot more fun than coding on modern systems because you really get intimate with the hardware and can control absolutely every aspect of what is going on.

This is a picture of my Amiga 1200 all opened up because I am repairing the keyboard ribbon cable. Once this keyboard is all fixed up I can get right back to coding on this baby!

This course will be aimed for absolutely anyone, starting from the very basics, even if you have never programmed anything before. No special hardware is required, just an emulator if you do not have a real Amiga.

Is this something people would be interested in? There are very few in-depth resources on the internet on the subject and many are just confusing but I plan to make it as fun and painless as possible!
