I am Richard Peters, and I believe that this new platform "Steemit" with the use of "blockchains" has a lot of potential to bring humanity to a new level of civilization.

Given the content that you place on this medium seems to be relatively permanent, it will force the user to first think before saying something and being accountable for the consequences.

This seems to me to be a mature and constructive way of communicating, and on top of that you seem to be rewarded somewhat, if the content is of value or popular.

At least that is my current view of this whole, with the knowledge I currently possess.
And i think it's awsome!

I am a Dutch citizen of 37 years old, and I work as an electrician (technical services staff) at a sports or entertainment park.

My hobbies are playing computer games, listening to music, enjoying the sun, but mostly just enjoying life!

I will probably add mainly Dutch content on this platform, but I would like to use the "introduceyourself" tag for my very first post. And that tag would be useless if I were to write this in Dutch. ;-)

PS: A dutch introduction might follow when i feel like it! In the meantime i'll just try to learn more on how to use this new platform.
