SteemGreet - Motivate new users who just joined

Hey fellow Steemers,

You may recognize me from my tutorial https://steemit.com/help/@reggaemuffin/complete-guide-to-what-is-steem-it and maybe from the @welcomebot that welcomes new users.

But having a bot comment is not really motivating. It is nice and helpful to get some helpful tipps but we are here for human interaction!

So I want to announce SteemGreet where you can automatically motivate new users.

How it works:
You go to the page and login with steemconnect (keys stay between you and steemconnect) and then keep it open.

Once a new user posts an introduction post, @welcomebot will welcome him. Soon after you will greet him with an upvote.

Why upvote all posts?
Most users put a lot of effort into their introduction and it is always something personal. Receiving your first upvotes is a forming experience and will motivate immensely.

It also gives manual curators a monetary incentive to check the introduction categories and connect with new users, as introduction votes are intentionally delayed to allow this.

How to support this?
Keep using SteemGreet for as long as possible. Manually greet new users. Resteem this post to get more people greeting. Upvote @welcomebot when you see him to give his vote more power.
