Hello Steemit! It's @promisechima. I am new here on steemit and as it's the usual tradition, this is my #introduceyourself post.

I am a Nigerian by Nationality, Geologist by Profession, and Igbo by Tribe from Anambra State, Nigeria.

A Man from the Past?!

Lol... Absolutely not. That's just me trying to be funny. Well, u really can call me a guy from the past seeing that I am holding a card with a past date, precisely 12 days ago. I have been very busy and lazy to do a post but within this period, I still tried to check on the community and I must say, I have found the community to be an educating and fun filled, clearing the initial doubts I had when @faithfulomoy introduced me to this wonderful platform.
Yes. I got to know about steemit from @faithfulomoy. Thanks to him. He actually taught me a lot of things, including how to use basic fonts on steemit so that my posts can appear prettier.

Interests?

I've got great love for music and I love singing. I was utmostly delighted wen @faithfulomoy told me about the @surpassinggoogle #untalented-singsong and @luzcypher #openmic contest which I plan on participating soon. In fact, this is one of my main drive for joining the community.

Amongst my other interests are Writing, Nature, Football, Science and Discoveries.
