Blurred, low resolution images with written photo verification, and posts consisting of a lot of images and sparse, low-quality text.
Videos with no sound as "verification" (as one popular blogger who I believe is probably a Catfish).
Running it through https://imageedited.com and checking the metadata you may able to judge whether an image is likely to have been doctored.
Let's be vigilant and not promote Catfish spam!

Well, it seems like @berniesanders has a lot to do with this kind of thing, to be honest. He liked the post, her comment, and some other comments that were encouraging the poster to continue... Handing out hundreds of dollars left and right on trashy posts and trashy comments seems to be his MO.
I noticed this yesterday as well. Even posted a comment to the same regard "If there is one thing I have learned from steemit, it is that berniesanders likes his women --insert some women for berniesanders proganda poster"
