iam not a good writer but i like to read novel

i really curious its possible thats a writer / novelist earn from steemit?
whats i mean here is ussually we buy a novel on bookstore
or we buy kinndle/ebook on online store but on steemit if we have a really good novel our reader can pay its via their upvote , example case thats i see is in here
