Hello, Steemit community! My name is Nolan but most just call me Noly. I'm 27 years young and I just recently moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota. We just had our first snow today, already...
Anyway, I'm a web developer with knowledge of different languages such as the basics (HTML, CSS) and some more advanced (PHP, MySQL, JS). I'm also in the process of diving into Node.JS a bit as well. Been devleoping for about 8 years now. Probably longer.
Aside from development, I have a huge interest in politics and cryptocurrencies.
Anyway, that's just a little about me. I look forward to posting articles on the topics I listed above as well as some philosophical and psychological related posts.

I know how hard it is as a fresh account so maybe you want to try @MinnowPowerUp where you can earn up to 30% more steem power than just directly powering up! Anyway if you have any questions please do let m know, sometimes steemit can be a bit hard to understand.
There are also loads of communitys that you would fit right in with, such as #minnowsupport and #steemitbc that will help you get started. Most of the communities are not held here in steemit at the moment.

Oh try avoid the follow for follow - trust me your feed will get full of stuff you don't want and you will find it hard to curate good posts.
@paulag You know of any good posts about the basics of steemit? I'm trying g to understand voting power, differences between steem power, steem, and steem$, how the earnings are calculated, etc.
Just the basic stuff I suppose.
