Introducing @MyHuntingFishing and the #MyHuntingFishing Tag!

Hello Steemians, @bbrewer here. I am an outdoor and crypto enthusiast who has been on Steemit since July, 2016. Today I am sharing an exciting announcement on the Steem blockchain.

Presenting @myhuntingfishing and the #myhuntingfishing tag!

This effort dates back to its creation in the form of a blog at My Hunting & Fishing in 2008. Through this blog I have been writing and curating hunting, fishing and other outdoor content for almost 10 years. I have enjoyed sharing these experiences almost as much as being out in the woods, on the water or at the range.

As a community, our mission and passion is to share the joys of hunting, fishing, shooting, firearms and other outdoor-related pastimes and lifestyles. We encourage people all over the world to carry these joys on to future generations.

What I have always dreamed of doing is finding the means to curate and reward this type of content. I want to lead the effort to build a community whose members can reward each other for doing these things that we all love. Many people share the ultimate dream of financing their ideal lifestyle by living their ideal lifestyle and blogging or vlogging about their experiences. Who needs a regular job when you can get paid to do what you love? I feel that with Steem we have finally found a way to accomplish this.

As a result of these two worlds (the outdoors and crypto) colliding, I have created @myhuntingfishing and delegated 1,000 of my hard-earned Steem Power to the account.

With that delegation and the hope of additional delegation to come, if we are deemed worthy, @myhuntingfishing will be carrying the torch here on the Steem blockchain and strive to achieve our mission along with our fellow Steemians. We aim to post, curate and reward hunting, fishing, shooting, firearms, camping, hiking and homesteading posts.

We will pay special attention to posts that also use the #myhuntingfishing tag, which we have created with this post. We want to build a community of like-minded Steemians under this tag and hope to expand our services with a @chainBB (see https://chainbb.com/forums) forum and possibly even a Smart Media Token (SMT) some day, depending on the resources available. We have big dreams, and want to make your dreams come true along with ours!

These traditions build lasting memories and stories that are passed down from one generation to the next. My father passed them down to me and I am sharing them with my sons.

It is these memories and stories that help transmit the joy of these pursuits in a way that is almost as effective as the experience itself. Undoubtedly they fuel the hopes and efforts to make future outings successful.

With Steem, @myhuntingfishing and #myhuntingfishing there is a now a way to add wealth to that transfer from generation to generation as these stories and the tokens shared by curators are are immortalized in the blockchain for the benefit of our heirs.
