Introducing Tom Brislin, award-winning, world-touring, blockchain-loving musician to the stars!
Hello to all in the Steemit community!
My name is Tom Brislin. I’m a professional musician who has toured worldwide and recorded with some of the biggest names in classic rock, including Yes (who were just inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this year), the iconic Meat Loaf, and the eternally cool Debbie Harry of Blondie.
I currently perform as a solo artist with an eclectic style, and as a member of the progressive rock group Renaissance. We recently completed our first ever tour of Brazil and Argentina in May 2017.
As an independent musician, I’ve become very interested in cryptocurrency and blockchain technology, especially when it comes to how it can benefit creatives and content creators of all kinds. I joined Steemit last year and now I'm finally able to start posting!
I'd like to say that I've been enjoying the videos and insights from @jerrybanfield , @trevonjb , @marketingmonk , @rowbvp , @bitcoinandcoffee , @britvr , @boxmining , and all who take the time to post helpful info (and entertainment) in the crypto-space. Thanks!

Hi Tom! Back in the day Yes was the band which got me into playing progressive rock and away from 4/4 so I'm looking forward to hear more about you and your projects.
Thank you! I was raised on Yes music so it was a thrill for me beyond words. Funny you mentioned the time signature thing; I thought it would be fun to write a pop song that sounded straight ahead rhythmically but in 7/4 time.
