LordFluffyGoggle has arrived to ramble and write

It is I, Lord Fluffy Goggle! Well that was the name given to me when I attended my first charity motorcycle ride. My parental selected given name is much harder to pronounce, so this name stuck.

I'm an avid doer of nothing, though sometimes when the DIY bug hits I take on small to ridiculous projects.

Some of these projects included:

  • Write my own voice recognition digital assistant named Jeeves. Think Jarvis as a toddler that threw tantrums in the form of code exceptions.
  • I chopped a motorcycle to look as bad-ass as I could never be.
  • Once wrote a book and published through Amazon self publishing services. This book was all about how I baited email scam artists and the hilarity that ensued. The book had a hand full of sales which was mainly own purchases for the family and my coffee table. (I still have it).
  • I've built two electric guitars! Electronics all hooked up, but they sound horrible. Then again, they both look awesome!
  • Wrote a text based open world survival game using ASCII art. That was fun and mind boggling at the same time.
    •
  •  I've blogged on the important things in the world like evidence that Santa might be Satan.
  • And I almost forgot to mention the overhead console I built for my Jeep Wrangler

My latest project however has kept me busy for the last 2+ years and I've scaled down on project throughput. We've had a kid and I fear he is as a nutter as I. He's been keeping me very busy, but slowly but surely I get to do other things again. Like spending some time in front of the laptop to write.

I suspect I will be back to my (ab)normal projects again and will post these right here.

So fear not, I tend not to write about the same topic more than a couple of times. I jump topics and projects like a pinball ball between scoring plates.

I might in the meantime reflect on some of my previous projects and the findings from them. Supporting and positive criticism are all very welcome and will be as well received as possible. In fact, I've been married for more than 8 years and have developed a very well defined skill in making sure I appear to take all criticism and opinions on board.

I'm looking forward to using Steemit as a new platform of engagement and learning. Now I will be off reading on making chains and how to connect to blocks using them. Apparently 'block chaining' is the next best thing, but I still struggle to see the artistic value of having a bunch of blocked chains around the house.
