Hello Steemians!

Before everything else, let me just introduce myself.

I'm Kayenine, (yes it's read as "canine," referring to the dogs and it's a long story to explain why my dad named me that, so, let's skip that,) already in my quarter and a year of existence, living in the Tuna Capital of the Philippines, General Santos City, where our very own boxing legend and champion, Manny "PacMan" Pacquiao lives. I was born in Surigao del Sur, where my father is from, but I mainly grew up and spent most of my younger years in Cebu and occasionally in Masbate, for summer vacation. I'm a nurse by profession for 7 years already but there are more than being a nurse that I find interesting.

Here in Steem, I'd like to share to everyone my passion and my hobbies.

As to most people who know me, I love traveling, that they jokingly call me 'Dora the explorer.' I easily get excited especially when I get to explore new places and embark on a new adventure (especially extreme ones, e.g. water tubing, caving, rapelling etc.) and I make some vlogs (video blogs) about it and take pictures (tons of them, keeping the memories and yes! upload it to my other social media accounts.)

Moreover, I'm a thalassophile, lover of the sea. Water calms me down and helps me regenerate when I'm overly stressed out in work or whenever I just wanted to declutter my mind from whatever is boggling me.

Apart from that, when I have all the free time which I also call my "me time," I do journal making, painting, brush calligraphy and hand lettering. I can say that I'm not a pro on these endeavors but it makes me proud when I'm able to do it and make something that is creative and artsy.

Since I take a lot of pictures and I greatly love photography, most of my friends would let me take their Instagrammable pictures but, when it's my turn to have my photograph taken, it can either be blurred, not framed properly or just unsatisfactory. (Life's unfair right?)

Nevertheless, I got into Steemit through my cousin @jemmanuel who successfully persuaded me to join because he knew how I love sharing my artworks and endeavors and might as well earn through this platform. I promise to give you creative outputs and I hope I'll get the hang of everything in Steemit. Don't forget to give me a follow.
