The Comedian? I am not that Jeff Ross.
About 6 years ago, I was hosting a trivia night in a small cafe in Tacoma, WA. The sign outside said “Trivia Night Hosted By Jeff Ross”. Two guys came in and sat down. I was setting up my microphone and scoreboard and they guys come up to me. “Where’s Jeff Ross?” they asked.
“Hey, I’m Jeff” I say to them. Bewilderment fell upon their faces.
“I thought the comedian was going to be here?” they scoffed and left quickly. I’m a nice guy, so I didn’t remark on the fact that this was a small-capacity cafe off of 12th Ave in Tacoma. The Roastmaster probably would not be hosting a trivia night for free here. It seemed like that would be common sense.

So Who Are You?
Well, I’m Jeff Ross. Again, not the comedian. And not the producer for Conan O’Brien (also named Jeff Ross). I graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor’s Degree in Management. I manage a hotel in a small harbor town. I’m 30, married to an amazing woman, and we have a dog. Francine. A chihuahua-dachshund mix that we rescued from the Humane Society.

Why Are You Here?
I don’t know. I like new stuff. I like different stuff. New social media platform? I’ll try it out. Something obscure that most people haven’t heard of? I love it. Peanut butter and bacon hot dog? Two, please.
What Do You Do?
Aside from my day job, primarily I am a singer/songwriter. That’s what I enjoy. So I write music and perform songs with my wife at cafes and wine bars along the Puget Sound Area. I've recorded two albums, just so I can say I've done it. I love woodworking. I built a few things for our home, including an entry table, media cabinet, shelves, and other furniture. I built our fence that surrounds our yard, and our deck to enjoy warm summer days. I’ve been into photography for the last several years. I’ve recently started developing 35mm film in our kitchen sink. For fun.
(I built this cabinet for our turntable. I also built the vinyl shelves. And the guitar stand. I needed something to do that weekend.)
What Is On Your Steemit?
Because I have a wide array of interests, I’m sure I’ll post a little of everything. I just developed a roll of 35mm film last night. I'm playing some music at a wine bar tomorrow night. I'll be doing yard work Sunday.

Haha, I live in the Pacific Northwest. So I actually do love trees. I have about 40 fir trees on my property.
Yeah you are spoiled out there with the natural scenery out there. I have a buddy I grew up with living out that way outside Seattle. I'm a baseball guy and he wants me get out there to go see the Rainiers play in Tacoma. Sounds like a heck of a time. Bit of a change this time of year from lovely Iowa in early February.
