PREFACIO/PREFACE (ENGLISH TRANSLATE BELOW)

Hari bol (saludo que quiere decir “despierta tu conciencia espiritual” en sánscrito) comunidad de Steemit, mi nombre es Leonardo Alezones Lau; Soy autor de dos libros de Poesía en Venezuela: “Arcada” publicado en 2007 por Fundación Editorial El Perro y La Rana como galardón en El Certamen Mayor De Las Letras Y Las Artes Del Conac y “Amalivaca” editado en 2012 por Grupo Editorial Negro Sobre Blanco. Ambos poemarios se encuentran disponibles en Amazon para su adquisición. Aparte de escritor también soy Artista Plástico, estudié un par de años en la Escuela De Artes Plásticas Arturo Michelena para luego desempeñarme como pasante en el taller del Escultor Alexis Mujica. Actualmente me encuentro esperando la publicación de una Plaquette titulada I.N.R.I vía el Sistema De Imprentas Regionales de la nación y elaboro una serie de pinturas digitales.

Haribol (it’s a greeting that means “awake your spiritual awareness” in sanskrit language) Steemit Comunity, mi name is Leonardo Alezones Lau; I’m the author of two poetry books in Venezuela: “Arcada” was published at 2007 by Editorial Foundation El Perro Y La Rana as a winner of the award Certamen Mayor De Las Letras Y Las Artes Del Conac and “Amalivaca” edited at 2012 by Negro Sobre Blanco Editorial Group. Those books are in Amazon for its acquisition. I’m besides Plastic Artist. I studied two years at Plastic Art School Arturo Michelena and after I did an intership in the workshop of the Sculptor Alexis Mujica. Now i’m waiting the publication of a Plaquette titled I.N.R.I. by The Regional Print System of the nation and i’m making digital paintings.

Como creador persigo el que prevalezca una tensión entre las palabras y entre los colores para recrear en la mente de los demás un ejercicio que lo lleve a una expansión mental, pudiendo devenir ésta en un aumento paulatino de su grado consciente. Es mi llamado y a la vez mi forma de yoga, un camino a la iluminación colectiva influenciado por las aventuras de un vasto grupo de creadores nacionales y foráneos, clásicos y actuales que estaré compartiendo con ustedes, junto a mis más recientes trabajos, en los subsiguientes espacios.

I pursue, as creative, the prevalence of tension between the words and between the colors to recreate the mind of people as an exercise to push a menthal expansion so that its conscious degree increases. Is my search and a form of yoga, a way to the collective illumination influenced by the adventures of a vast group of nationals and foreign, classics and recent creators that I’ll sharing with all of you, in the company of my newest works, in the following spaces.

La difícil situación en que se encuentra mi país ha afectado severamente nuestra capacidad para llevar a cabo obras, sus exposiciones y publicaciones en físico, nos hemos visto forzados a sólo subsistir en medios digitales especializados, he ahí mi principal interés en esta red social; poder habilitar a través de ella un diálogo permanente en torno a la producción cultural propia y de todos los participantes, sin dejar de lado todas las otras posibilidades que implique su uso general.

The difficult situation of my country has hardly affected our capacity to make artworks, expositions and physical exposures, We have been forced to subsist in specialized digital media, from there my main reason in this internet network: because I can enable a permanent dialog around the own cultural products and of the all other artist’s data, without leave behind the other posibilities which imply its general use.

Yo @elpoetadelhongo apodado así por Luis Alberto Angulo, por el carácter onírico de mis versos, una tarde mientras le leía el poema “Música” en la casa de la poetisa Ana Enriqueta Terán, los invito a un viaje para descubrir que la literatura y el arte están para asombrarnos de la vida misma y reconvertir en amor lo mejor que tenemos la experiencia del alma humana.

I was nicknamed @elpoetadelhongo by Luis Alberto Angulo, because the dream character of my verses, it was the afternoon that i read the poem “Musica” at the Poetess Ana Enriqueta Teran’s home, I invite you to one travel to discover that Literature and Art are to amazing the same life and convert in love the best things that we have; experience of human soul.

te tienes hoja
del árbol
donde nadie
está viendo

en mi memoria
se oye la brisa
sacudir tu altura

dejando resonar
el mismo verde
que antaño ignoró
a los murciélagos
colgantes
dando pecho a sus crías

BLINDNESS

get you leaf
of the three
where nobody
is seeing

in my memory
the breeze is heared
to shake your height

letting resonate
the same green
that yesteryear ignored
to the hanging bats
breastfeeding their litters
