I should probably introduce myself...
This is the beauty of Steemit. A place where we can post when and how much we choose.
To start off, my name is Callie and I am a 22 year old living in the United States. Most of my life I have been interested in film and photography. As well as being an animal lover and a dreamer, I desire to hold a presence on the internet. I grew up relatively shy and not outspoken. Classmates even called me a hermit crab. Since those days my ability to speak up for myself and self-awareness has skyrocketed.
My passion for film began when I was a toddler. I debated auditioning for Disney Channel shows but was discouraged when I knew how shy I would be in a room full of judges and other acts. Eventually I would go on to watching YouTube videos of my favorite content creators for hours a day. However, when I was introduced to Steemit and DTube something became of me and I had fireworks inside! The spark I needed was knowing that anyone can do it on this platform. It is a fair space where people encourage each other and that gave me the push I needed. You will be seeing myself on DTube quite soon! I am so excited.
