Hi everyone!

Like the title says I'm new here on this platform. In fact I never was on any blogging-platform before. But first things first. I'm Nik from Berlin and 23 years old. I'm studying physics and currently trying to make it through my masters degree. Hopefully I will finish my master in laser physics and/or solid state physics to develop semiconductor detectors for optical information transmission.

I don't know if any of you is interested in this kind of stuff, but it's a big part of my life because beside of my studies, I work part-time at the research facility in Berlin.
Another part of my life is music. Like many children I started playing the piano at age eight. But not like others it starts to be a passion of mine and I was learning fast. Now I own my one piano (electric piano unfortunately, but I'm living in a flat so it's better this way). My second instrument are the drums, which I don't can play in my flat, for obvious reasons. Last year I discovered deejaying for myself and I might upload my first "mix" do dtube in the future, but with my timetable I don't know if I am able to get it ready properly.

The last big aspect of my life is my ex-girlfriend, who is pregnant. This is kind of a complicated story and I don't want to write the whole story here. But we get along with each other and try to make the best out of the situation, because we did create new life, which I think is a very happy case. And just for your information the pregnancy was not the reason for our breakup.

I noticed, that the other inductions have pictures in it and all, but I'm not the picture guy yet. So if this is well received they may be some pictures in the future. Also you will notice, that this is my first post ever on any blog, so if you have some feedback for me, to make it better, I have an open ear (like we say it in Germany ;P).
