Hello! I’ve been here since January and wish someone had given me the following links when I made my introduction post. I could have done better sooner.
Steemworld.org is a free service that interfaces with steemit.com and provides a wealth of information about your account. Use your own @handle to access your account information.

One of the biggest mistakes I made was that I was too anxious to get into this platform and did not read ALL of the Frequently Asked Questions: Read the whole thing including the “White Paper”. You will not regret taking the time to learn these important facts:

Here are a few more that I have found helpful:
✶ Emojis for SteemIt from @blueorgy - This was really helpful since the first list I came across did not work. At all.
✶ Emojis Master List 2 from @blueorgy - Simple copy image and paste; explains each emoji as well, which is really helpful. For instance: Tanabata Tree ⬅ never would've known.
✶ Steemd - Shows a great account overview. Simply add your handle at the end of the URL.
✶ Steem Bot Tracker from @yabapmatt - If you are interested in bots, this will likely come in handy. (I'm nowhere near knowledgeable on this subject yet, but it looks interesting!)
