Oh, why hello there.... Please excuse my imaginary scantily clad outfit. I'm.... hot....

HOT FOR YOU, Steemians!!

.... Also because I live in Texas, the wild West, and it's July. Before you ask.... Yes, we DO ride horses to school. You get your starter horse when you graduate 5th grade. Yes, I always carry my trusty six shooter. FOR SAFETY. And NO. We don't take kindly to yer type 'round here.
HAHA jkjk. Here in Dallas, things are quite progressive and rather normal compared to the stereotypes. I've been to Denver, Seattle, San Fran, LA, New York, Barcelona, Paris, Athens, etc. And to my surprise; after extended trips, a week or more, I'm usually ready to come home. Nothin like some good ol' southern hospitality. I love that it's not weird to say "Hey, doin alright today?" in an elevator or wave to strangers in passing. Most people are quick to smile or politely hold a door open. Alcohol and Weed laws SUCK. But hey, we're workin on it. The heat is brutal during the summer, but besides that, the weather is gorgeous out here. Beautiful sunsets. Texas beaches suck. BUT. There are beaches, and a bunch of lakes. Hell, If you go to the right apartment complex, they got fake beaches by the pool.
But I digress, enough of this Texas infomercial.

I make all sorts of music. From smooth R&B soul music to heavy trap bangers. I produce, play multiple instruments, and sing. I am one of the founders of Bipolar Entertainment, a multi-media artist collective. Saturday nights, after our weekly show at a small venue called the Drugstore Cowboy (LOL, of course.), we take our mobile music cart, powered by a small generator, fitted with a PA, microphones, Macbooks, Ableton Push's, keyboards, and more, to the streets of Dallas. There we host live improvised jam sessions with any passing creators! Come dance, sing, rap, paint, glass-blow, WHATEVER. We want to collaborate in the beautiful NOW. It has been so rewarding to be a part of the growing community, there are so many talented people out here, we always have an incredible time. My favorite part of Dallas is Deep Ellum. A newly revitalized artsy section of Dallas filled with venues, bars, breathtaking murals, delicious food, prestigious tattoo shops, and It's where a lot of "good vibed" people from the DFW area hang out.

I am so intrigued by dreams. Although, throughout the majority of my life, I experienced very few dreams. One or two a month, if that!
About 5 years ago, I took an English class where my teacher had each student choose a heroic journey. "Don't worry." — she assured us. "Just choose something, anything, to learn. A language, a skill, whatever. And you'll be writing about your progress all semester." At this time I had been reading about lucid dreams feverishly for weeks. It was a perfect opportunity. During that semester, everyday, I would meditate before bed, do multiple "reality checks" while I was awake, and kept a dream journal. After just a couple months I found myself having 2-3 vivid dreams a night. Usually starting from my meditation.
I start to see lights, then my body goes numb, sometimes I hear wild audio hallucinations before "sliding" off the bed and falling infinitely into darkness until, at the right moment, I open my dream eyes and usually am floating in the middle of a room that resembles my own. I walk out the door into my own world where I can fly, blast monsters with telekinetic powers, and have all the unprotected sex I want. Real life GTA. WITH POWERS. Fuck VR. I got the next gen already.

Here's a couple wacky dreams from my Journal...

"Was chased by various things and a small girl was in my company. While fleeing giant lions, a zombie was about to bite the girl. I put my gun to its head and pulled the trigger, but I was out of bullets & it bit her before I killed it. We escaped, and me, friends, and others tried to make her as happy as possible for as long as possible till she died. We had a huge party for her. I was very attached to the little girl and when she died it evoked an extremely strong emotional response. The next day in real life (I think) as I write this I can still feel that emotional attachment & feel like she was real and died."

"I was a hippo/elephant that couldn't swim in captivity. I escaped by sinking to the bottom of the lake and walking on the bottom. A chase ensued."

Needless to say, Im one weird individual. And allllmost needless to say, follow me! ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?? Theres so much more! I got way more dreams, many journeys already had, documented, and ready to blog about, with many more to come. Not to mention tons of dope music in the pipeline! I have an exclusive track ready for release that I'd love to share first with some Steem homies :) Message me? Is that a thing yet? If not, I guess comment and I'll figure out how to get you this trippy Future R&B HipHop diddly I'm quite proud of. If you're a skeptic, listen to this song I made over a year ago — www.soundcloud.com/avesa/paper-adventures — Made completely by yours truly.

Much love, you brilliant wackos.
Looking forward to getting to know more of you :)
