Hello Steemers, let me introduce myself

I'm just new here and this is my first post.

I am Genesis Aala. I came from the Philippines and this is my story.

I was a normal child born on 1993, I play a lot and curious about so many things. At a very young age, my family discovered that I learn faster than other and that I am a creative child. I grew up reading and browsing colored science books, encyclopedia and history books.

I also excelled during my grade school and high school days.

As I grew older, I developed my skills in arts such as charcoal painting and sketching, Later on, I find comfort in drawing portraits using color pencils and graphite, which became my source of income while studying. I learned how to draw and paint different kinds of face, from realistic, cartoonized, to abstract.

It was 2 years ago since I started using watercolor as a medium and up until now I am creating different scenarios and dreamy like paintings from it. Most of them are galaxy or faces with geometric lines and figures mixing and enhancing them digitally. And I guess that would be my style!

I also like experimenting on different art materials and styles. Now I am using acrylic and oil paint as my medium. I thought these two mediums were the hardest, but I found comfort using them especially oil paint.

Aside from drawing and painting, I recently found photography as my hobby. I like to capture natural things in its natural state such as the formation of the roots and fall of a leaf, the waves of the water and the drifting of a tree. I love nature and trees so much. I also like to capture weird and sort of creepy stuff, it makes more sense when I capture them in my most mysterious ways.

I also love music, that is my frustration. I am able to play violin, guitar, piano and ukelele, and I am still striving hard to master all of these.

In spite of all of these, I am not a full time artist. I took Electronics Engineering course in college and I am currently a Project Engineer in an Australian based company.
