Harrison Schmitt besides being the only geologist in history who has had the opportunity to work in another world Harrison turned out to be the only astronaut, of the Apolo program, allergic to the Moon: after one of the extravehicular activities of the Apollo 17 mission, in the surface of the moon, and once the helmets were removed inside the lunar module Schmitt started coughing as his eyes reddened, his nose itched, and his sinuses clogged. The symptoms lasted a couple of hours. His companions messed with him all the time but in reality the moon dust can cause silicosis and its high iron content is related to cases of hypertension in astronauts of the Apollo program
