FBI Guards Against Progressive Politics

When I saw this, I had flashbacks to stories I read about McCarthyism, and the witch-hunt against socialists, communists and anarchists in the United States of America during the 1950's, at the peak of the second Red Scare.

The Federal Bureau of Intelligence yesterday showed that in 2019 it's still common practice to keep progressives out of office. In an interview on Fox News former FBI Assistant Director of the FBI's Counterterrorism Division, Terry Turchie, admitted as much; you can see it in the video linked at the end of this short post. Although it comes as no surprise anymore, it's still good to keep reminding ourselves that the political game is rigged against the people, and that it doesn't matter what side of the political divide you find yourself either. Let this be a reminder that it's NOT the so called "far left" that's staging some grand plan against Trump; the far left never ever had a chance to be elected in any position of power.

Democrats are not progressives, at least not the politicians, yet this former FBI Assistant Director calls them that, which shows how far to the right politics in general have moved since the 1990s. This man joined the FBI in the late 1970s and admits that it has been his job to keep progressives out of office and that democrats and republicans alike "plant stories" to thwart the enemy's plans... This is business as usual, I'm afraid. The only thing that makes it extra sad this time, is that so many people truly believe the current president is a special case, that he is allied to none of the "opposing" factions; I even read that he will end globalism and destroy the Illuminati...

It's funny to me that so many people regard Trump's victory as a blow to the "leftist conspiracy" to rule the world, when in reality leftist politics were killed in the USA decades ago, and the war against progressives is still alive and kicking.
