Bernie Or Bust

This phrase, "Bernie or Bust," is often used by fanatic Bernie Sanders supporters to indicate that they'll only come out to vote for Bernie Sanders. This means that in the general elections they'll stay at home and not vote, should any other candidate than Bernie Sanders is the Democratic presidential candidate.

Opponents of Bernie Sanders, that is all the other candidates and the mainstream media, use this to attack the Sanders campaign and Sanders himself as being a divider instead of a uniter; this has been going on since 2016 when the DNC and Hillary Clinton accused him of not endorsing Clinton. Hilary to this day still accuses Bernie for her defeat against Trump. The truth is that Hillary and the DNC rigged those elections against Bernie, one television news anchor was even fired after it got out that Hillary received the questions for a debate ahead of time, so she could prepare her answers...

This time around it's not different; again all establishment forces are aimed at Bernie and his supporters. This is hypocrisy of the highest order, with Sanders being the clear front-runner in the primaries. He won the popular vote in Iowa, he won New Hampshire, has a lead of up to a whopping 10 points in some national polls and most importantly he has the most individual donors of any candidate in history, no one coming even close to his numbers. With all this talk about unity in the party and rallying behind the leader, you'd think that the party would back Bernie any way they can. We all know that's not true though; unity is paramount, as long as it's not behind Sanders.

Let me remind us all how well attacking the voters has worked against Trump in 2016; it didn't. And it won't work this time around with the constant attacks on the Bernie Bros. It really is looking like it's gonna be Bernie or Bust for real in 2020, and that's a good thing. "Vote Blue no matter who" just won't work, especially when the establishment pushes forward another billionaire racist and bigot in Michael Bloomberg, which is exactly what they're doing by not exposing his checkered past regarding "stop and frisk" and not mentioning that there are 64 women accusing him of sexual harassment. 64 Different Women Have Filed 40 Lawsuits Against Michael Bloomberg for Sexual Harassment and Discrimination. Really, the democracy-crushing sexually harassing racist billionaire midget is the one we're supposed to unite behind? Just imagine what an accomplished public orator and professional bully like Trump will do to him in the debates...

Bernie or Bust is true in another sense as well this time: I don't believe the Democratic party will survive if they do steal the elections from Sanders again. The Boomers are on the way out and Bernie has HUGE support among millennials and subsequent generations; if the Democratic party breaks trust with them, they've preemptively lost all elections for the foreseeable future. In a rare act of integrity CNN reporter Van Jones said on the Bill Maher show: Democratic Leaders Cannot ‘Step In and Try to Derail Bernie’ This Time, ‘Let Our Voters Vote’; it's in the open now that the DNC will do anything in it's power to stop Bernie, even at the price of another four years of Trump. So don't listen when they're lecturing us Bernie supporters about unity or being too far left. Nevada is next in the primaries, another state that got stolen from Bernie in 2016; we'll see what happens...
