New York City DA Scrambles to Blame NYPD for Not Prosecuting Harvey Weinstein; NYPD Says They're Lying
There's a lot of corruption in government and big institutions like Hollywood. Everyone knows that. There are fixers who donate to key people to keep their clients out of jail, or who threaten witnesses to make them quiet.
It's practically begging to be exposed.
But it takes a major event to disturb the status quo and get people to start talking about it.
I think -- or at least hope -- that the Harvey Weinstein bombshell is going to have enormous collateral damage and be the size of scandal that actually gets written up in future high school history books, like Teapot Dome.

It's already funny to see Hollywood ripping itself open over their knowledge of this situation; see McGowan's contempt for Affleck for his handling of the situation

You see actresses flipping their stance from defending Weinstein two days ago, to participating in the required Two Minute Hate today (Streep). Following the 1984 theme, Hollywood is already trying to Memory Hole Weinstein by taking his name off multiple credits...thereby hiding the fact that THEY THEMSELVES KNEW OF HIS SERIAL ASSAULTS AND DID NOTHING IN ORDER TO LINE THEIR OWN POCKETS!

As a father of four daughters it sickens me reading stories like this, this is an example of a poor excuse for a man. A real man doesn't use his position or power, either physical or emotional, as a tool to aid in rape.....a real person doesn't do that, for this problem exists on both sides of the gender line.
Harvey Weinstein is the face, but this is a problem in most societies, it is also unacceptable. Just my opinion
