Dems pushing for bill criminalizing boycotts of Israel.

I can't even believe that this is the country I was born in. Whether you support the modern nation-state of Israel's expansionist policies or not, there is ZERO justification under the U.S. Constitution for free speech to be censored just because it upsets a FOREIGN power (or the ruling party of a foreign power.)

Even the ACLU, which makes Constitutional exceptions all the time, based on their liberal-left ideologies, is opposed to this bill. No one would be forcing anyone to participate in a boycott, of course, so there can be no claim of coercion. Besides, where are these corporations that are falling all over themselves to organize a boycott of Israel?

I can not imagine a nationless multi-national greed-and-leftist-agenda-pushing formerly-"American" corporation organizing such a boycott anyway.

What, exactly, are Demonrats hoping to achieve with this??

It just makes zero sense.
