Model Ship Powered by External Tesla Coils

Sounds like Fridays at 10/9C in Murca, for the next few weeks at least the History Channel has a new show about the missing Tesla Files. The first episode was very interesting. Discovery Channel also recently finished its first season about Tesla's Deathray which was claimed to be able to shoot down 10k planes 250 miles off the coast in the 1930s.

I hadn't looked into Tesla too much before watching the Discovery Channel show, but the more I learn about it, the more there there it appears there is. It sounds like Tesla invented directed energy weapons which for some reason seems like it may have been suppressed. If someone launches a nuke or something else like that a hegemonic superpower wants intercepted in the air, sure one could use another missle, but will it be fast enough, and will it be accurate enough to intercept in time? It seems directed energy could be much faster and more accurate.

The first episode of the tesla files discussed how some Tesla file claimed there 80 total trunks of Tesla files, but it sounds like later insitittuions got anywhere from 60-30 trunks only, so did some go missing?

The episode also seemed to show a model ship being remotely powered and controlled by tesla coils in line with designs from Tesla, so would this technology have been viable if Tesla did not die/has it been viable much more recently than we are currently led to believe from the rulers who control the mainstream narrative?
