Covington Lynching was a Political Setup

in #informationwar5 years ago (edited)

Everything that was said was a lie

It only took 3 days to find out the truth and a simple question that could have saved kids from being lynched by the social media and main stream news. Questions that could have been asked in the beginning, instead of spreading a misleading clip about an incident in DC.

Are you a school teacher?

The account, with the username @2020fight, was set up in December 2016 and appeared to be the tweets of a woman named Talia living in California. "Teacher & Advocate. Fighting for 2020," its Twitter bio read. Since the beginning of this year, the account had tweeted on average 130 times a day and had more than 40,000 followers.

Since the incident, I started just questioning what the kids did that was wrong. Then I found the longer videos and knew the kids didn't do anything wrong. I also gave Mr. Philips the benefit of the doubt, even after it came out that he has been a political activists and claimed racial attacks from students before.

Now, that I have spent two days defending the boys and getting more angry at people upset with them for just being white, wearing a MAGA and smiling, I am no longer giving Mr. Philips the benefit of the doubt.

It was a political stunt

According to Mr. Philips interview immediately after the incident

  1. The boys approached him
  2. The boys surrounded him
  3. The one kid stood in his way and wouldn't let him move
  4. The crowd wouldn't let him leave
And then, a little later in other interviews
  5. He entered the group to diffuse the situation between the kids and a group of African-American men

All of these are lies!
ALL OF THEM.

So, now that I think about it. Mr. Philips had a group of camera people follow him into the group of kids. This would also be the people who gave him the quick interview afterwards. And most likely, the people who posted the video and spread it.

I don't care if Mr. Philips is a Vietnam Era Vet. Setting up children to be lynched the a cyber-mob is unworthy of respect or admiration. Me might have been in the military, but he was most likely too young to go to Vietnam itself. As far as I am concerned, everything this man speaks is a lie.

The bluecheck marks on Twitter and the media who attacked the boys should be sued. I have seen that some lawyers were already collecting tweets for the lawsuit. Families have been threatened with violence over this and it is disgraceful. Any adult that continues to blame the kids for this should be ashamed of themselves.

Here is Nick Sandmann, the kids at the center of the controversy, with his statement. I believe his statement over Phillips lies.

I don't care if Mr. Philips is a Vietnam Era Vet.
He's likely not. He was born in 1955.
The last combat marine unite pulled out of viet nam in 1971
He'd have been 16 at the time.

but wait..there's more. It takes a long time to train a marine. They didn't just enlist, get handed a gun, and go to war.
Basic Training.
Advanced Infantry Training.
Speciality training.
it took a while.

what are the odds?

Yup. I read a thread on a military news site and one of the guys broke down the age, time frame and status of sending troops to Vietnam in that time frame.

Thats true
