Two ideas for artifacts.

Banner of Oreth- Artifact
Legend has it that the banner was first made out of the blood soaked sleeve of a maruader.
A warrior who fights only for wealth. Rarely do they showcase any form of compassion that splinters away from their purse. He died to save those he was not in the paid service of. A rarity for his kind
The banner prefers to wave in the halls of kings. Due to the dying blessing of a once greedy marauder. His redemption can help those seeking fortune and riches.
If they are willing to pay.
Holding the banner lets the owner takes a percentage of some IFC prizes and post payouts.
The banner is given to it's new owner whenever a tribute fee is paid to the warchest of @apolymask.
Who then spreads the tribute evenly to two of his hosts.
@swolesome who first recovered the banner.
And the prize pool for the IFC. So that others may take up the banner and go forth for adventure and riches.
The fee starts small. It's purpose to maintain the sacrifice and meaning of the banner.
1 steem.
Then the fee is doubled.
And again and again.
Until someone holds onto the banner like the artifact it is.
Goblin's Kiss
These little daggers are infused with some serious Hobgoblin Hocus Pocus.
We found a wounded war elephant covered in these things. Looked like a pin cushion. We have basically an infinite supply.
We aren't sure how it works.
Only that it sometimes works.
Whenever there is a game of chance. The user may present this dagger for a 50% chance to get a second ticket/balloon/item thats entered in a drawing.
They are currently selling for 1 Steem each.
Payable to @swolesome. Hes an odd one. Collects these things.
And hes the only one we know of that actually accepts them as payment.
Rumor has it if you cash in a bundle of ten at once. You get a chance of getting twenty(20) items from @swolesome chance games.

Funny you say that. I can make more based on that hot potato idea.
I think the more ideas out there we can sort through them and find the best ones. So many different things we could implement them throughout the game. I mean 5 more months that's a good amount of time. So I say go with it! I know this round is focused on these three topics, but who's to say that later on there won't be another round with a choose your adventure type quest. See what you can come up with in the mean time i suppose.
I think ideas that fund mini prizes inbetween are important. Just need to brainstorm.
yes, it definitely keeps ones attention when the prize is close at hand, and doesn't seem like forever. I think you have a great way of thinking on that aspect for sure
I got one. Have a 10-20 steem prize every week.
Users can buy tickets for 0.5 steem each.
But if they get a vote on their entry they get 5 tickets for free.
50/50 goes to that weeks prize pool. Other half to us to promote the contest with bid bots.

Your artifact ideas are interesting. I'm not sure I totally understand them, I think I need to read this more and think about it and let it digest, I also need to respond to kryptocek's ideas, but not sure I am gonna get to it tonight. My brain is getting pretty tired, I may have to sleep on these ideas and get back to both you and kryptocek tomorrow.
Super interesting cool ideas though! I'm looking forward to going over these ideas with you and kryptocek, and also.. I can't help but feel like.. There may be a way to work with you more here swolesome.. You seem like you have a knack for games, and charisma777 has created her own side quests in the IFC, kryptocek I think has also shown interest in sort of creating his own quest. Maybe in the future you can run your own game/quest through the IFC as well if you want to. I know you already have two games on your hands! But just wanted to throw it out there, there could be an opportunity to work together more here in some way if we think about it and come to some kind of agreement, I like your style! :) And maybe we could somehow cross platform and help bring more people back to your contests as well. Anyways.. I'm getting tired. Going to relax for a lil and then make some food and sleep I think.. Once again.. Great entry! Gonna think on these, talk to you later!
