What people can do to earn living, infact a happy living. ?? They can go by far to do anything or something special to make every one to applaud. I met one such women who earns living through folk dances. Well it is not kind of any hip hop or shaking of the leg. This Dance calls for a much apraise as it is done on Sword.

The photos were taken last year, in one of office outing to a resort. The cultural program was organised by the resort for our entertainment. Making us meet with the Rajhasthani culture. Tye cultural program was started with some folk songs and then the dancing ladies taken over the stage.

Their team musician playing some local folk beat with harmonium and tabla, making these swings and shaking with each beat. The coordination was perfect. Soon these ladies started to play around with many props. First they make pot tower on the head and a Steel Plate on the foot.

It was not mere standing the plate, but the women started to make move on the plate and started swinging. No matter, we were standing applauding each of the shake.

Once they done with the plate, they took some pause of the activity and started taking few rounds of the stage. And soon they comes up with another Prop. And this time it was a sword . At first the women tried to stand slowly and steadily and finally manage to make a proper balance.

And then, it was some unbelivable stunt we were witnessing in that small courtyard. That magical Darin women, took everyone with surprise when started to make foot movement one after the another standing on the sword and pot tower on head.

All of us, who were sitting and enjoying the dances soon standup on our seats to applaud. The musician at the background pumped up too and we all started dances looking at the incredible dance program and brave act of the women.

The cultural program is actually the Rajhasthani Folk Dance which are performed in rural part. Once use to be a common dance now only been performed to earn livlihood.
