5 Must Watch Documentary Films On The Indian Air Force—Part Two
I've finally managed to complete all the documentaries in my list and have posted the first part of this two part series here. This is the second half and I recommend you to watch these.
Salt Of The Earth-The Indian Air Force Story
If you were keen to learn more about the formation years of the IAF then this is a good video that deals with the subject and also manages to show some vintage footage as well. It's an old video and the video quality isn't the best but the content is just great for its time. The historical elements in this video simply cannot be ignored and you will find yourself immersing into it.
Women Fighter Pilots
IAF opened up the fighter pilot wing to women and brought an historic change in the prestigious air-arm of the Indian Armed Forces. In another brilliant documentary from Discovery channel three cadets at Indian Air Force Academy-Dundigal Avani, Bhawana and Mohana defy all odds to become the first women flight pilot of India. Don't miss this.
Lamborghini Huracan Performante vs MiG-29k
The final bonus here is the race between a Lamborghini Huracan Performante and Indian Naval Air Arm's MiG-29k. As a former automotive journalist I couldn't resist sharing this video. This was shot in Goa and has a few amazing sequences of the MiG-29k in action.
I've spent considerable time watching these and many more videos over the past couple of years on our armed forces, and felt everyone from India and maybe fans of fight aircrafts and air forces from other parts of the world may also find this interesting.
After all these films will remain as an ever-lasting salute to our awe-inspiring officers of the Indian Air Force!

Today we even launched an asat missile. The 4th country to ever achieve such feat. We can now destroy enemy satellites revolving in low earth orbit.

Not a bad day to post this haha. We just tested our ASAT weapon (ground-launched) for the very first time and entered into a super-elite club. ;) Hope we'll soon develop an air-launched ASAT missile as well. Our Su-30MKI heavyweight fighters are more than capable to handle such a missile, its load, the required velocity of launch and the required near-space altitude to launch.
Next up and the next club to enter: the uber-elite hypersonic missile club.
