Today, one of the speaking group's topic is about egg (tamago). Although with the same hiragana, the kanji is different with different propose. The 卵 usually used for egg without cooking, and the 玉子 represent cooked egg. In Hong Kong, people also like eating egg. There are different kinds of cooking method.

今週のテーマは”たまご”です。たまごは２つの漢字があります、卵と玉子ですね。卵は調理前の卵を指す。一方、玉子は調理したもの。なるほど！香港ではよく”玉子”が見えます。玉子焼き(玉子燒in Chinese)や玉子丼など。日本語のままで、広東語を読みますねｗ　香港人もよくたまごを食べます。いろいろな食べ方がありますが、ほとんど”玉子”です。生卵は珍しくて、個人的にはお鍋を食べるときしか使いません＾＾。

今天的會話題目是日語TAMAGO的用法。雖然都是蛋，也叫TAMAGO，但寫漢字時卻有不同的寫法。原來用「卵 」時多指生的，像日本會吃生雞蛋拌飯，那就是用卵。而叫「玉子」的話，都是已經調理過，像玉子燒、玉子丼等等。原來有這樣操作呢！而香港人也常吃蛋，而且花樣也不少呢。
