IFC Invitation S2R4

in #ifc5 years ago

Inviting more players to the Information Finding Championship, in my view steemians who aren’t participating in this wonderful contest are really missing out. The first and foremost thing to do was resteeming the initial IFC post. Even if one of my followers starts playing the contest then it’s a win for us. After that I’ll promote the IFC post on two amazing channels with great steemians the Asapers and the PIFC both are filled with skilled bloggers who can be an intruigal part of the contest.

I created a template that can be used to invite more players into the championship.

Finally the points for why you should join the contest are listed below

  • The challenges are creative to the core and you definitely have to think about the given task finding your own inner creative person to complete these challenges. I have quite fun completing these tasks especially last week in which we had to create a song. The tasks are also open oriented you could make a video, a poster or a blog whichever the player is comfortable with is accepted by the judges. Good quality always gets the due rewards you only need one vote to qualify into the finals and there is a relly good chance of making them if you are serious in completing the task with real effort.

  • The prizes to be won are great the very first advantage is the added promotion your post and profile receives by getting a resteem by apolymask and the IFC account this opens new horizens to your post and even new followers who are impressed by the blogs that are produced, but that all depends on the quality of content being displayed. Other than that the weekly challenge winner gets 75% of the curation reward from the post and the IFC winner will get 100 Steem in rewards amazing isn’t it.

  • This is the second season and hence professionalism is a norm here. The judges are clearly unbiased and always encourage the effort of the players. The entries are thoroughly reviewed and feedback is given on the positives and negatives of the post. The judging system is also neutral with multiple judges casting 3 votes in favor of the entries which most likely inspired them the most. They are also very responsive and listen to any suggestions made towards the contest.

  • The community includes many steemians who are on the platform from the start and hence you will get to know many amazing people who aren’t just surviving here but flourishing on Steemit. Exchanging quality words with them is always beneficial and seeking advice regarding blogging here or any other matter will help you as a writer. You may even make new friends and in the end the best way to use Steemit is with a great community and IFC is truly an amazing community to interact. You can find out about this solid community on the IFC Discord channel:- IFC Discord

Conclusion

In the end I’m very optimistic about the success of this contest by seeing the effort put behind the unique tasks each week, the judging of each entry and the overall organizing of the contest. Not only this season but many more seasons to come. If anyone here is curious regarding the contest you can ask anything about it below and I’ll respond to the queries.

You'll enjoy the experience for sure

Awesome to hear you'll give it a try @the.seeker ! Based on what I know of you I think you'll do really well with your writing skills! Who knows maybe you'll even end up being our champion. Heh. Our previous champion was also an excellent writer and it really pays off in our contest to be skilled at writing I think.
If you have any questions feel free to ask and I'll do my best to help.
Also.. It's taking me a lil while to get back to your responses from the other day, I've been a bit overwhelmed but I plan to do it soon. Maybe even later today, but if not probably tomorrow! Cheers man.

Yes, I intend to enter the next round. I cannot do much about this one with such a small follower count on both my accounts, but hopefully I can provide something useful to the next round to make up for it.

There is no rush. I do not mind if you don't reply, if you're going to be posting in the future about the same topics and including your thoughts within them, I will very likely end up reading them anyway.

Understood! I have a feeling the next round is going to be a good one for writers, especially creative writers who have experience with conspiracy theories!

And glad to know there's no pressure to reply on your side, I've had people in the past get upset at me before for not responding quick enough or visiting their page enough and I try my best but it gets a bit overwhelming at times with all the stuff I'm trying to do.

I read the round's post but to be honest I'm not entirely clear on what it is I have to do. Just write anything about the three subjects? Or any other subject? Is it meant to be a conspiracy post, or are we specifically seeking to find information about something that not a lot of people know about?

If you could elaborate it would be brilliant as I want to make sure whatever I create for the contest fits well.

You can write anything you want about any of the 3 subjects, or you can pick your own subject this round. Or you could write about all 3 subjects and pick your own or any combination of such.

You don't have to limit it to conspiracy theories, you have full creative control. You don't even have to write, you could make a YouTube video or a song or draw a picture or.. Just about anything.

If you want to improve your chances of winning you would want to appeal to the judges to get their votes, I have links listed of what the judges are looking for and I personally am much more likely to vote for you if you find some information that not a lot of people know about! I love learning new things, so.. If you find some rare or uncommon info that would help increase the odds I vote for you.

I think it might help if you look at other entries in the past.
Here's a link to the first quest we did this season, the subject is "The Universe" and if you scroll to the bottom you'll find the entries where people submitted about the universe, some are factual talking about scientific stuff, some philosophical and one guy wrote a fictional short story. I do believe someone entered a YouTube video as well, so there's numerous ways you can go about it! Hope this helps, lemme know if you have more questions.

Just giving you heads up that I have ran out of data. It is reset for the month again on the ninth, so I will respond to all your messages properly at that time. But, I just popped up to my mum's to use the WiFi to post my entry to the IFC. I am not sure if it is the sort of thing you were looking for, but we can talk about that in a few days when I have internet again and am able to post and comment freely.

Hope you had a good week and I shall talk to you soon.

Ah. Okay. Understood. I guess will post your entry in the main round thread then for you. When it comes time to vote on this round I'll make sure the judges know to check my comment for your entry.

And this round was open to anything so it's totally fine, I thoroughly enjoyed your entry. Some of the other judges may not be into ancient history and etymology as much as me so it may be less interesting to them, but I thought it was great!

Thanks for the well wishes, same to you! Hope you had a good week as well and will talk to you when you're back!

But I could use a link to the discord as the one from this post has expired.

Ah. Okey doke. Sure thing. Here's a link for you.
