Chimaera: The New Era of Gaming
The first gaming platforms appeared back in the 80's and since then we've been watching their rapid development during past years. And the further this industry developed, the more often the developers encountered problems such as security and scalability issues. It's not a secret that gaming industry is one of those where these problems are most relevant. On the other hand, the gamers faced problems, very common in the centralized world, related to the need to trust third parties.
I'm sure there is no need to repeat how revolutionary the idea of the blockchain is, how it helps to solve scalability and security issues without requiring any third-party trust. And though blockchain technology is relatively new, there is no doubt that blockchain-based gaming platforms are the future.
Chimaera
Someone may say that this idea has been discussed many times before and there are already some similar projects and blockchain-based games, but actually, Chimaera is going to do much more. The goal is to create an entire ecosystem profitable for developers as well as for gamers.
The developers will be able to create blockchain-based games, or as the Chimaera's team says, decentralized worlds, which will cost them less time and money, while the possibilities will be unlimited and the applications will be really unstoppable.
The gamers will get a fair and secure gaming platform, where they will be able to earn and have fun at the same time, thanks to Play-To-Earn or a human mining concept.
CHI Token
Chimaera's economy will be powered by CHI tokens, which will be used for accounts creation, in-game assets purchases, and even for services like new games crowdfundings. The developers will be able to earn CHI for their work and the gamers for their efforts in-game.
What makes the idea more awesome, is that the players will be able to exchange their in-game assets in one game to CHI tokens and use them for purchase in another or even translate it to the real world and make a real profit.
The initial CHI tokens will be available during the token sale, which is currently live.
The Team
Chimaera's team consists of experienced game and blockchain developers. I think it won't be superfluous to mention that these guys had an experience with launching a successful blockchain-based game. Huntercoin had a solid success and now they are going to use their experience to completely revolutionize the stage of blockchain gaming.
Soccer Manager™ Crypto
Another great fact that made me to take this project serious, is that they are already contacting and partering with game development studios, which are going are going to build game on Chimaera's blockchain. "Soccer Manager™ Crypto" is going to be the first game on the platform, and even more announcements are coming.

Interesting but the problem it's not a crypto but a game point system. I guess in the future you can trade game tokens in exchanges but as an investment choice i am not sure...
At first, I was confused too, but imagine if we could buy the inner currency of any popular centralized game for 50-60% discount, before its launch. I think it could make sense :)
