An offgrid cabin in the woods

My name is Laurel. I am a middle-aged woman on my own (for now) who 4 years ago started an offgrid farm with Jerry in Pierson, Florida on 12 acres, mostly wetlands, that we rented from Evan. In those 4 years we have fought against lack of time, energy and money to try to make the farm look like the vision we had in our heads when we began. 3 years ago we ended the partnership and became friends and neighbors. I took the 2 acres south of Emporia Rd and put a rent-to-own cabin on it and he stayed on the 10 acres north of Emporia Rd. Recently Jerry met the love of his life online and married her and they are in the process of renovating a house in nearby Deland. He has left the whole 12 acres to me. In my mind I have created a new vision for my farm and am now working to carry it out. I still struggle against scarce resources but I am creative, resourceful and blessed.
