Is Football Gay?

Is it just me, or does football commentary often sound like they're narrating a gay sex scene?
"He just gets behind him and goes for the reach around."
"He just pounds him from the rear!"
"Grabs another huge sack!"
"He goes for the in and out, then grabs hold of him."
"They're playing some heavy man on man action tonight!"
The tight pants and all... seems pretty gay. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
